Lori Alexander 32: Breastfeeding Begets Boners

It would serve her well if Ken divorced her, and the courts informed her that she (a mere woman) had no right to alimony or any of his assets.

Being homeless, she would immediately go to her retirement plan children.  If luck held, all four would unanimously turn her away.  The daughters?  Sorry.  Their "heads" said no.  Her sons?  Sorry.  Turns out they think it's time for Princess Lori to stand on her own two feet.

Next she would go to the church, and after reflecting on her generous history of tithing, they would explain that they don't have enough funds to support her. 

Finally, she would give up and go get a....(god this word is hard to say)...job.  Bad news, though.  Men need the job she's applying for, and quite frankly, a woman's place is in the home.  It's not that they mean to offend her, but God commands them to reject her application.  Blessings!

Voting?  Nope.  Women have no business voting.  Actually, she should be turned away the next time she goes to vote (which she absolutely does).  At least Zsu doesn't have the gall to go vote, after bitching about having the privilege. 

Sorry...got carried away there, but suffice to say, I think it would only be fair for Lori to have to live the life she "prescribes" for other women.

When I was nursing my son, I asked my husband's grandmother about breastfeeding "back in the old days" (her babies were born in the 1940s). She said that she tried to be discreet but that sometimes babies have a mind of their own. She said that men just knew that when a woman was holding a baby, it wasn't polite to look. If a nursing breast  drew a man's attention, the shame was on him for looking and not on her for feeding her child.

I didn't do the doodle next to Lori's...it popped up in my FB feed...a friend found it. 

My darling children were interesting while nursing. One would give the boob his WHOLE attention as long as there was something coming out. He's still hung up on boobs! My daughter would prefer to sip a little, look a little. Other son...as long as he had nothing better to do (look around, try to squirm, etc) he'd nurse..but he had the attention span of a flea...nursing was better done inside the house in the bedroom so he'd just eat. But...he's the one I nursed until he lifted up my shirt in the grocery store and yelled "MAMA...nummie..nummie"...yeah, that was the end of that. He was 2-ish. Of my daughter's 2, the older one was totally content to nurse and crash. The younger one...nope...she ended up being a formula baby.

Just today I substituted in a Family and Consumer Science class. The students were learning about baby care. The teacher actually left a video about breastfeeding to watch. I was interested to see what the boys would do. You know what? They barely paid attention. It was like any other boring video your teacher made you watch.

ETA: I also remember watching an episode of "Cops" when they were at Mardi Gras.  The officer in charge told the others if they saw a woman flash her breasts, just give her a warning. If she did it again, to give her a ticket. She would not be arrested until the third time.  Even the police didn't care or they knew every woman would be in jail if they made a big deal out of it. And that's not breast feeding. That was real flashing.

A little while ago, I just signed a petition, sponsored by Moms Rising, in support of a city councilwoman in Michigan who was breastfeeding at a council meeting.  The council chair said that she could not breastfeed at the meeting -that to do so was indecent- but she has a right by Michigan law to nurse anywhere she has a right to be.

Mr. Fearless is so wonderful. I have never ONCE caught him eyeing other women. Like... I will verbalize jokingly if I think he’s looking at an attractive woman and every single time he’s always looking at something else, whether that be a weird tree behind her or a dog or... literally anything other than women. And the hilarious part is, HE IS NOT LYING!!! He is so non-creepy that he just does not stare at other women. I love him tons <3 He is living proof that husbands can be kinder, more patient, and more selfless than most people give them credit for

I'm just trying to figure out what she believes about emotions. One minute its be happy! And the next minute its, emotions don't matter! (The counselor in me disagrees because well... science). If emotions didn't matter then you being happy wouldn't matter. Be cheerful and not grouchy ever! No depression for you even if you're suffering! But look at all of my suffering! On the doodle about breastfeeding and thongs- in the comments she posted a link to one of her blog posts about the topic. A woman commented on the blog that her son ended up with a porn addiction because when he was 12 or 13, the woman in the church pew with them was nursing uncovered. I swear these people are simple minded. Part of each is grateful that some of these women don’t exercise the right to vote. 

@fundamentallyfearless I don’t think that is her really. I think that’s someone posing. I’m kind of hoping that whomever it is trolls Lori’s site.

Also, I can't with her post on not supporting women's rights. In some countries, women can't even drive or are just now being able to because of women's rights movements. She has absolutely zero concept of what those movements have afforded her and how she benefits from them. Being able to drive, better doctor care for women, property rights so daughters can inherit, education to write blogs, the right to wear pants and shirts instead of dresses....etc. etc.

And obviously they aren’t to work. Or do much of anything. Lori disagreed and listed some long response but both have been deleted. I thought I grabbed a screen shot but can’t find it. With Lori's obsession over breasts and breastfeeding lately, it makes me wonder if Ken prefers women with larger breasts.  Or was staring at a woman breastfeeding.  Lori always seems rather insecure to me and afraid of losing Ken.  Then she tells everyone what else to do so they can't 'tempt Ken'.

Does Lori have any understanding that if women had no rights she couldn't access the joint checking account or use her charge card?  How would she buy those $70 denim skirts or shop at the expensive organic market?

Not to WK Ken, but I'm sure he'd love it if Lori didn't have access to his money for her wasteful spending.

Given her spending habits, I don't think Ken will ever retire.  He needs to keep bringing in an income to keep ahead of all the Lori-caused outgo.

I really do  wonder at odd moments if Ken wishes he'd gone ahead with that divorce years ago.  Even giving half to Lori in community property CA might have been worth it to be rid of her.
