I feel that while there's the concept of "hide your sexuality, and any signs you might be a woman with breasts and a vagina because it might make men stumble," there's also the concept of "you must be feminine and beautiful at the same time, because you need to look good for your headship/potential suitor. However, don't use makeup to achieve this because you're telling God that his creation isn't good enough. But don't be ugly." So many mixed messages. It's amazing how any of these girls get to adult hood with their sanity.

All the dogma of religion is a big mixed message. People have to listen to themselves and know who they are from within otherwise they are just mindf??king you over.

I gave up trying to make sense of the double-standards and mixed messages. Basically it's a catch-22 wrapped in catch-22's to fuck with girls' and women's heads. That's all it is. Confuse and make them feel like the world is their fault, and use their guilt to control.
