In Which Lori C & P's Fournier's Public School Diatribe

Recommended Posts

What sort of public restrooms is this woman using where the stall doors reach the floor? I don't think I've ever been in one that has doors all the way down to the floor.

i've seen a few, but they're far from common. if i were to go into a public restroom, i would expect them to stop short of the floor. seeing them go down to the floor is a surprise the few times i've seen them.

I swear conservative Christians all share one brain. They all seem to bitch about exactly the same things;

Feminism

Public Schools

Gays

America going to hell on roller skates

Liberal Colleges

omg, i don't know if anyone's noticed yet, but someone has posted asking about why fournier still works there. megan says:

I fully agree with this post but my one question is, why doesnt he take his own advice? Why is he working for such a 'godless institution' they are paying his salary. I wouldnt want money from them. (I homeschool my children.)

lori's response?

He's a missionary in the public school system, Megan.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh i just can't even. i swear she has an excuse for everything. there's more to it, of course, but that's the best part.

I have to agree with some of the weird toilet designs being not such a good idea. The bathroom at the high school is weird. It is completely open plan, stalls on one side, sinks on the other, and there is no wall separating it from the hallway. I don't think I could poo there, as there is nothing stopping all of the sounds and smells escaping. I guess it solves the problem of people hanging out in the bathrooms to skip class, or smoking in there, or doing disgusting things with bodily fluids........but it is just weird and uncomfortable.

Public school districts do NOT hire missionaries, Lori. I've never heard of a church supporting a missionary specifically for "saving" public school kids. That just isn't done. If he was working as a missionary, he'd be receiving pay from a church or several churches for his work at the school. I'm fairly certain his paycheck is part of the school district's budget. I've also never heard of a missionary speak in such hateful terms about the people he is trying to "save." This man is not Godly. A Godly man would not give a family's name when discussing those who he believed failed by sending their kids to school. A Godly man would not take money from an institution he described as evil. That would be like a man preaching against the evils of alcohol while working as a bartender. For you to tell your readers he is a missionary is completely false. He is public school teacher who chooses to disparage and spread false witness about the very institution who supports his family. He's a hypocrite, which I suspect is one of the reasons you admire him so much. You certainly are not very careful Lori, in the people you choose to promote on your blog.

And don't forget Barack HUSSEIN Obama. He's a Muslin Marxist born in Kenya. And Michelle Obama's toned arms are a Socialist plot.

poor amanda. the post makes her feel like yelling "woot woot!" and fist pump, but it's "not her nature" so she's sitting still...

uh, amanda, honey, if you FEEL like doing something, THAT IS YOUR NATURE. :angry-banghead: i think what she means is "my husband doesn't like that, so i don't do it". the denial is strong in this one. i almost wish i was around for the original cabinetman debacle so i could see it from inception!

It is just her giving a little AMEN to Lori's post about the disobedient wife who yelled in church..

You guys. I can't.

Single mom posts this:

I don't understand.... how can you make it happen if you work and have no $ to spend? I am a huge proponent of home schooling when possible, but I am a single mom with a small income. It just isn't possible for me even though I would love to make it happen.

lori responds:

You can do it without spending any money. You can use the library and Internet for reading and math materials. It really cost very little. Do you have to work? Can you live a lot more simply in order to be able to stay home and raise your children?

Lori. Are you actually going to say that this woman should give up things like a roof over her head and food to eat and not being naked in order to stay home? How in the world could a single mother possibly not work? Please. Please explain this to me. I'll be waiting.

I left a comment wondering why this guy is working for a system he so despises especially when he's being supported by hard-working tax payers like myself. Needless to say, my comment wasn't approved.

Dear Lori:

Look up Godwin's law.

Please do not repost stupid shit that makes Holocaust comparisons, unless you are actually discussing some aspect of the Holocaust or something that is genuinely similar in horror. It doesn't really boost the argument. It just serves to make the original atrocity seem like no big deal (after all, how bad could a concentration camp be if it's just like public school?), and makes the argument sound extreme and desperate.

I know your critical thinking skills are poor and you have trouble telling the difference between a good comparison and a bad one, so here's a tip:

If you want to make a comparison to a concentration camp, ask yourself, "Are people being rounded up at gunpoint? Are they being beaten and starved? Are they dying from epidemics? Is the goal of the camp to facilitate genocide? Is mass murder taking place?"

Pretty sure teachers aren't supposed to proselytize in public schools. And if they did, it would violate the kids' constitutional right to freedom of religion. I'm pretty sure conservative Christians would be *pissed* if a teacher were actively trying to convert their kids to, say, the COFSM. So how in the ever-living heck do they justify a teacher claiming to be a "missionary" to public school kids?

Ethics. These people have none.

lol "megan" already posted something similar (albeit, perhaps worded very, very gingerly). lori's response? "he's a missionary" yeah, okay lori, whatever you say.

I also left a similar comment and it too got sucked into the black hole. It has nothing to do with only wanting to post positive message and everything to do with LorKen's inability to defend their positions with anything other than "the bible says so!"

Aside from the obvious (that people need the basics of daily life like food, shelter, etc.), how does she expect this woman to pay for internet access without an income? Or the gas and vehicle or bus fare to go to the library? Yeesh, Lori.
