I find it very sad that Steve, a grown man who has served in the armed forces and worked in the corporate world for many years, felt so uncomfortable simply walking around the first fair.

He has isolated himself and his family awfully, and there are consequences for all of them.

And yes, the irony of the Maxwells approaching other people's children with their own religious propaganda is staggering.
