I had no side effects from the Mag, other than a refreshing lack of seizures. Yay modern medicine :)

Does that mean you're inauthentically alive right now?

Terbutaline was the one I've heard of.

Mag sulfate is given to women to help prevent premature labor. Terbutaline is also used for that purpose. but in the last couple of years the FDA has warned against anything other than short term use (a couple of days).

I had both terbutaline and mag sulfate when I was in preterm labor with Katherine. Neither of them worked for very long. The mag sulfate is thick and hurt going in. I had this idiot of a nurse that always took in blood pressure in the arm with the mag sulfate drip. I had a mark on my arm at that spot for a year.
