Lori Alexander's second grandchild was born on May 9th

Recommended Posts

Lori's daughter-in-law Erin gave birth to a boy on May 9th. Poor baby will be raised by parents who are Pearl supporters.

Erin delivered a precious baby boy on May 9th. His name is Kenneth Ryan Jr. and weighed almost seven pounds. This is the picture Ryan sent us minutes after he was born. We are so blessed!

Erin's parents came down and will live with Ryan and Erin for the next few weeks as they adjust to a second child and Erin recovers from delivery. What a rich godly heritage this baby boy has been born into. All his grandparents love Jesus as well as his parents, aunts, and uncles, etc. Children are indeed an amazing gift from our Lord.

I continue to struggle to get well. I have to go in to get my blood tested every other day to make sure the balance of water and sodium are okay. We do this to prevent me from going to the Emergency room again. Three times is plenty.

The pathology report said this tumor was a grade one, benign, and slow growing tumor just like my last one nine years ago. It said there should be no concern that it will grow any faster than the other one. Hopefully, it will never grow back again. I have a diseased dura in which the tumor is growing out of and if they were to dig into the dura, I would have no quality of life.

May all of you wonderful mothers have a great mother's day. Life is fragile and very precious. Use your time wisely loving those around you.

I always feel a bit sad when babies are born into fundie families, because of the high rate of child abuse :(

I love how the child gets a shout out and then its right back to her and her 'difficulties'.

I thought it was a bit weird that the entry was titled, "Best Mother's Day Gift Ever" and then she included her health difficulties after mentioning the baby. I'm ok with Lori wanting to update her readers on her health difficulties, but she could have done some kind of update entry.

I get sad too. With Lori's family, I worry quite a bit because she heavily promotes/supports Michael and Debi Pearl. There is also that crazy posting from last summer where Lori talked about her son Ryan forcefeeding his crying daughter. Lori had no issues with her son doing that. She also talked about how she and Ken used a leather strap to discipline their kids years ago. This might sound crazy or maybe I'm reading into this too much, but from pictures I have always gotten a bad vibe from Lori's kids in addition to her and Ken.

Here's to hoping Emma and baby Kenny can make it through their childhood safely and find a safe haven to escape to once they turn 18.

Scarily, this is probably the second of many. Lori is an avid proponent of Quiverfull for other women's wombs, I'm sure her daughter in law's most of all.

So Erin married a man named Ken too? Although he apparently goes by Ryan?

A part of me thinks that Lori's kids might back out of having large families. Lori only had four kids and I think her kids are used to that size and the thought of a larger family might scare them later on. Lori's kids lived comfortably in an expensive state because of Ken's business. It seems Ken is setting up Ryan to eventually take over the business. On a related note, I have to wonder why Lori's married daughter Alyssa hasn't had kids yet. She is turning 30 soon and has been married a couple of years. Maybe she and her husband are waiting to have kids, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lori is pressuring them to have a bunch of kids.

I totally agree. In my book this is nothing to get excited about. This poor kid has a long road ahead of him.
