I'm European and can assure you that pretty much everyone here has heard of Jesus and the Bible. You'll probably find less people willing to talk about their faith than in the US, and most likely a lot more people who don't believe in Jesus and the Bible, but I'd say at least 95% of the European population has heard of these concepts. Otherwise, all those big houses with the pretty windows and crosses on the rooftop would be a bit hard to explain.

I believe that 99% of the people in the middle east are just trying to live their lives like the rest of the world. Statistics are facts, not opinions. It is incorrect to say "in my opinion, 95% of you..." because you are just inventing a number out of thin air. Try as I might, I could not find a single poll indicating that 95% of Americans support the war on terror. Please provide these sources if you have them. One interesting finding I did come upon was this article, which reports that a poll done in March found that 69% of Americans think we have no business being involved in the war in Afghanistan. That would seem not to support your claims. It is, however, pretty consistent with my experience of people's opinions in my daily life as an American.

I have refuted the troll in question several times, and I don't like it when people tell others to go die, either. So I guess I'll be planting my flag on moral high ground hill.

One of the things that I like about FJ is that threats, telling people to die in fires, rape jokes, and other nastiness along those lines is not rampant and given a free pass.

I don't get it myself, since in the end, the Crusades failed to convince Muslims to convert to Christianity. Even if someone converts because of a threat of violence, it's not a genuine conversion, since it was only done out of fear. Sometimes people continue to practice their old religion in hiding, even while appearing to have converted. There are also people who are perfectly willing to die instead of converting, which is something that has happened throughout history.

Who does the bolded refer to, me or Bougalou? If it's supposedly me, then that's just silly. First off, because valsa is totally capable of taking care of herself without any backup, and secondly because I don't always agree with her. We part ways on a whole lot of issues. See: radical feminism, for example. (It's also silly if it's Bougalou, because I know that she and valsa are not in ideological lockstep either.)

As for referencing your mental health status in a pejorative way, that's not cool. But it's not cool for you to shame people who don't choose to share all of their lives on this forum either. If you are comfortable and okay with that then more power to you, but not everyone is and that's okay too. Completely valid personal preferences aside, it's not safe for everyone to share some things even if they might want to.

In this thread, with regard to the ESAD/DIAF comments, you seem to be acting differently than you normally do (and seem to be brushing it off with the same excuse of "I thought it was funny" that you used for a sex video comments)
