I hope they asked first. Maybe the people who lived there might have wanted to use the wood for something.

Is she the type of person who would have asked though? I've only read her blog off and on but she doesn't strike me more as a "take now ask questions later" type of gal.

I can't imagine re-purposing nasty ass pallet wood for anything other than gardening projects, or something outdoors.

I think pallet-wood-countertop is uglier than anything else she has going on. And not 'frugal cute' at all.

There's something really weird about the size and shape of it... the wood itself doesn't look too bad with the finish but it's so wide and bulky-looking.
