As of a former Republican I agree and for these very reasons is why I now say former. The GOP isn't at all what it used to be and therefore I am done with them unless they can swing back to moderate.

I'm thinking the GOP is going to go the way of the Whigs if they don't get their act together. That would be unfortunate for the party of Lincoln.
