Agreed.  I was commenting on the claims that Josh had implied that others, namely Josiah, had had access to that car lot computer, and how there was a report on another site about Josiah not being there on a significant day due to Lauren giving birth.  At first I thought that was download day, then I corrected myself that it was FBI raid day that Josiah was known to be absent.  So pretty irrelevant.

I agree that all along there appears to be no doubt who actually did the downloading.

I'm sorry, I have to press 'X' to doubt that this woman told her sister that she made up a story about Josh Duggar raping her to further her porn career. I haven't read much about Danica Dillon, but I believe her. I would imagine she just had her dates wrong, unfortunately, and that made her chance of justice unravel.

Sex work is a legitimate form of work. There's no reason to shame sex workers for the profession. Statements like those are the reasons sex workers are unprotected (legally and socially) when they are abused.

Very, very true. TLC does have a history of giving victims of CSA a slap in the face like you said. Knowing TLC they probably won't do anything unless the ratings take a hit. They've given out statements saying they haven't featured Josh on Counting On. I believe Counting On is one of their highest rated programs. So, I really don't see them doing anything unless the ratings do take a hit and/or they lose sponsorship for letting the program continue. I really hope both happen.

Yes, Danica getting the dates wrong doesn't mean she is lying. Ultimately we don't know what really happened for sure but I could believe Josh treating her that way. Her sister is probably bashing her for media attention too.

There was more than that, there was footage of him elsewhere.  There was enough proof that he was not in PA at the time that she dropped the suit and stipulated that his evidence proved her claims were false.

He's a vile person IMO capable of sexual evil, but that doesn't make the uber only thing a fact or mean he was guilty of that particular incident.

When they first started airing Counting On, they had very few sponsors. Most of the ads were for TLC itself.

Danica wanted out of the lawsuit.  Josh, through his counsel, would only let her out if she agreed to dismiss with prejudice, which she did.  

The court was very close to dismissing the case anyway as Danica was not producing necessary documentation. Once Josh presented his evidence , her attorney was sufficiently convinced that she didn't have a case.  Curiously, he also indicated that she wasn't paying any of his bills.  

While we never had the full story, I think it's important to remember that her official story is that she made it all up.  She's claimed otherwise in tabloid media, but when she had her chance to present her case, she either couldn't or wouldn't.   Personally, I have no use for people who lie about sexual assaults.  This does tremendous harm to real victims, most of whom never get justice.

IIRC, a poster who spent most/all of their time in the Duggar threads was being asked by @Curious not to post their opinions as fact. The poster didn't understand why Curious would be involved, and wrote the line, "...and I don't even know who you are!" To which Curious politely replied, "Hi, Let me introduce myself.  I own Free Jinger."

I had forgotten the details, so this side trip down memory lane made me smile.

I'm not defending Mrs. Reber, but it's possible she was projecting her overall anxiety about the situation onto that grayish car. She knows she can't call 911 and say "Get this asshole pedophile out of my house, for God's sake" without running into trouble with her husband and Jim Bob.   So let's blame and fear the media instead.
