What a strange group of people. Why would Tiffany schedule her wedding this week? Why would they still hold it like two minutes after a Hurricane? Why is Ivanka wearing that dress? Why is whats her name wearing black?

If true, there might be financial reasons.  If she legally separated or divorced quickly, they might not be able to try to freeze her assets.  After all, Jared did get back channel help from Fox News about Biden.  What else might turn up that would be a prosecutable crime or at least a financial crime over which people could sue?  Dominion might go after him as well if they found he pushed Fox to spread lies.

All I know about the Trumps is that you always follow the money.  That's their reason for everything.

"Ivanka Trump Is 'No Longer' Talking Dad Out of Hard Situations, Source Says: 'She Can't Help Him Now'"

Ivanka Trump is continuing to keep her distance from her father, Donald Trump, as a grand jury weighs whether to indict the former president over an alleged hush money payment made to a porn star in 2016.

"Even though Ivanka loves her dad, she knows how impossible he can be," a social source tells PEOPLE — though another person close to the former first daughter alleges there is no tension in their father-daughter relationship, and that she's simply focused on raising her children and building a life in Miami.

The initial source says that 41-year-old Ivanka "is recreating her business life and raising her children which are her priorities. She is through with politics."

After her father announced he was launching another campaign for the presidency, Ivanka made clear that she would not be involved the way she was in his earlier campaigns.

"This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family," she said in a statement issued hours after he announced his 2024 campaign.

She continued: "I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena."

According to insiders, Ivanka has spent recent months traveling with her family and trying to ignore the negativity around her.

"She misses her active social life in New York, but is enjoying Miami and all that it has to offer," the social source says. "She has started over and pursues interests in business, design, and being involved in the lives of her children."

As far as the legal problems facing her father, the source says Ivanka is aware there is nothing she can do.

"Donald does what he wants, and she can't help him now," the source says. "His help is in the hands of his lawyers and advisers. She is no longer working in that capacity."

Another source, who ran in New York and Florida social circles with the former first daughter, told PEOPLE Ivanka misses her New York social life.

"She basically wants a new life to compensate for what she lost when she spent four years in her father's Washington," the person says. "She misses her active social life and group of friends."

Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, served as senior advisers to President Trump during his term in office from January 2017 to 2021, where she focused "on the education and economic empowerment of women and their families as well as job creation and economic growth through workforce development, skills training and entrepreneurship," according to White House archives.

Since Trump lost the 2020 election, Ivanka and Jared — plus their children Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 7 — have sought to carve out new low-key lives in Surfside, Florida, about 90 minutes to the south of the ex-president's private Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The couple recently returned from a trip to Israel with one of their sons and just last Friday, she was spotted at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, Florida, near Bal Harbour.

Ivanka Trump is coming out of what has undoubtedly been a rough time for her. She’d been so close to her dad, Donald Trump during his administration, but in the fallout, amongst all his legal troubles, his eldest daughter has tried to distance herself. She keeps herself well away from political discussions and politically motivated family gatherings.

She has devoted more of herself to her young family and we’ve seen lots of photos of her and the young’uns and shots of family vacays, SheKnows reports. And while Ivanka is almost certainly enjoying this quietude, there’s also likely a calculated reason for distancing herself from her toxic father and other family members.

And a recent article from Insider, titled Call Her Ivanka Kushner features commentary from the noted attorney and legal analyst Andrew Lieb, who talked to reporter Katharine Tangalakis-Lippert about Ivanka’s efforts to re-brand herself. Much of those efforts are being devoted to her husband, Jared Kushner.

“My gut feeling is she’s a Kushner. And she’s not 100 percent with both feet in the Trump orbit,” Leib said. “Jared has his own world and his own orbit — and we all know about his father’s own issues, but it’s a lot more stable brand, a lot less visible brand. They’ve got a lot going on over in the Kushner clan, and she has her kids and her family. That’s a different world.”

Leib added this change may be the best way for her to separate herself from the Trump family.

The Kushner family may have their own controversies but these are on a smaller scale and they provide a perfect avenue for Ivanka to brand herself in a more subtle way.

“Right now? Most people are not going to care what she does, as long as her father is a viable candidate for the presidency, there is a significant portion of the population that will not have any interest in the reintroduction of Ivanka Trump into the general conversation,” Lieb said. “But at some point, he will no longer be a viable candidate, and that’s when I think people will start to pay attention and they’ll be a little more open-minded because the fear and the loathing that’s associated with him among a portion of the population trumps any of the positive things that she’s been doing.”

As most of us remember, there was a time when Ivanka was entirely wrapped up in her dad’s Presidential run and campaign. The author of The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life lost her brand, which included a number of brand deals, friends, and her status as a socialite took a hit. So this new move as a caring Kushner may enable her to further her separation from her controversial family.

Jared and Ivanka met through mutual friends and began dating in 2005. They briefly broke up, but patched things up and were married in late 2009. They have three children: Arabella Rose, 11, Joseph Frederick, 9, and Theodore James, 7.

Perhaps Ivanka has learned some painful lessons from her relationship with her dad. He turned on her when she supported former Attorney General Bill Barr’s claim that he didn’t find any instances of election interference during the 2020 election. As my dad used to say, maybe Ivanka found out that when you lie down with dogs you get fleas.

It would not surprise me if she (and potentially Jared too) has cut a deal with DOJ. They are in deep doo-doo and stand to lose everything (including their children I would imagine) if they haven't. Remember the $2.5 billion that Jared received from the Saudis? Not to mention the deals Ivanka got with China during her tenure in the White House. It would be in their best interests to cooperate with the investigations.

It's no wonder she's ditched the lawyers she shared with her brothers, has refused to aid in her father's campaign-- or even to endorse him, and has now dropped her toxic last name.

However, reports of the couple dropping in on meetings and attending family gatherings came before a federal grand jury issued a four-count criminal indictment charging Trump with co-conspiring to overturn the 2020 election results, defrauding the American people, and aiding the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Lest I be accused of marinating in my own self-righteous disdain, as former National Review editor Rich Lowry has characterized Kushner critics, let’s be clear. Federal law prohibits using one’s public position for personal gain. I can’t prove Kushner used his position to procure funding for Affinity Partners, but to believe otherwise would be ingenuous.

Even if he didn’t break any laws, Kushner crossed every conceivable ethical line in his relationship with MBS by defending him inside the White House when he was under international fire for the murder of Saudi dissident and Washington Post contributing columnist Jamal Khashoggi — even after the CIA concluded that MBS had ordered the killing. As Donald Trump bragged to Bob Woodward, “I saved his a--.”

At the same time, Trump sold $8 billion in weapons to Saudi Arabia after vetoing congressional resolutions to block the sale. If the $2 billion wasn’t payback, what was it? Perhaps a down payment on future favors from a second-term President Trump.

No one’s naive here. The United States is forced at times to negotiate with bad actors. But shouldn’t there be limits to what we ignore and, thus, condone to achieve our goals? To essentially dismiss Khashoggi’s ghastly murder seems to me a dismembered body too far.

You can hear the Trumpets already. Oh, yeah? What about Hunter Biden? Good question. You don’t hear me saying nothing to see here. Investigations are ongoing into Biden’s financial dealings with Ukraine and China, and there seems to be plenty to see. The truth is all three of these entitled darlings are skunks — Hunter, Ivanka and Jared. But don’t blame the little furry fellah. That smell is the stench of corruption.
