If she had her way , I wouldn't have the right to participate in elections .  Not only does she undermine a woman's right to choose , in regards to the reproduction of her body , she also now undermines my right to choose , as it pertains to the body politic .   https://www.patheos.com/blogs/progressivesecularhumanist/2020/08/rnc-speaker-supports-household-voting-one-vote-per-family-man-decides/?fbclid=IwAR2aPItuGDvI79kiUDyMQ9xkNJLLRVvEkacCIC4zUpW3b_rxoA1RUlmeUP8

Not a problem for me. I live alone, so my vote is the only vote.

With four extremely opinionated people living here, there would be so much (heated) discussion in my house that the elections would be over and done with by te time we reached consensus, if at all. :pb_lol:

Thank Rufus I not only live in a democratic household where everyone gets their say, but also in a democratic country that simply sends ballots to everyone over 18 in the mail a month before elections.

I think she underestimates how much this would cause a spike in the divorce rate.

She should put her money where her mouth is and not vote this election, since her husband can do it for her.

Part of me hopes the people that believe this only have the husband vote so it is one less vote (if all kids are under 18). Less people voting with this stupid mindset, theoretically, says less votes for the idiots they follow.

I am all for everyone voting. These type of we all must vote the same or women shouldn't vote drives me insane. I found a person in my school district doesn't vote (I was on the committee to pass a building bond) and after she was very dismissive and thought voting was stupid I came away thinking I am glad she doesn't vote. She chooses to be ignorant about the democracy process. This is her choice and I am glad she doesn't vote because she would never research issues. She is too lazy.
