Maxhell- Part 5

I love the descriptions of the Maxwells on Swift Otter.

Joseph, who plays great guitar, Jesse, who is always brewing coffee or thinking about it, Steve, who has a massive pile of books on his ipad, & Christopher, the lone Windows hold out.

And seriously, what's with Joseph wearing hipster glasses?  He never wears them on the blog.

And Steve has a pile of books that he keeps on an ipad?   How many KJV bibles does one need?

Not one word about their lord and savior.

They're so cute when they try to make themselves sound hip.

I find this paragraph very dishonest. It's written as though Tits2 is an entirely unrelated business, not one run by the exact same people.

I also find it very dishonest.

I wonder if Steve knows what happens to liars who try to enter the doors of Heaven after they die...

I was looking around the Swift Otter website today and it appears that the Maxwells have hired a non-family member!

There is also a blog post about him, but it doesn't say too much. https://swiftotter.com/blog/our-clients-score-again-today

Interesting.

When Tyler was interviewed for the job I wonder if he was asked the Maxwell's favorite question.  Havent they gone to NH for the dog and pony show?

Titus2.com is a ministry for encouraging families in Jesus Christ. We had the blessing of being able to migrate them from their own in-house shopping cart to Magento. Their existing cart was not built for maintainability, and they were pushing the boundaries. Magento is rock-solid, easy to use and very maintainable.

I'm also not entirely sure what it means. The writing style is just odd.

Interesting.

Oh, shit.  Teri's SOTDRT strikes again.  Joseph - repeat after me:  Magento is an e-commerce platform.  An "ecosystem" is a community of living organisms.

And, my bolding:

At SwiftOtter Studios, we are committed to your success and one of our foundational tenants is individual skill excellence.

Joe, that should be "tenets."  A tenant is a renter of property.

Yes, the Maxwells were in NH in 2013.  And in 2014, IIRC.  That might explain Tyler.

But forgive me for not being impressed:

of the SwiftOtter development team, took and passed his Magento Certified Developer exam. That test is no “cakewalk.” The rigorous test consists of 70 questions covering all aspects of Magento development and best practices. We are excited for him and for you, our client.

Holy heck!  70 whole questions? I had no idea that rigorous tests had only 70 questions. Be still my heart.

Now how did this little genius score on the SAT and GRE?

I guess 70 is a lot of test questions for people whose maths test consisted of:

1 - If all the disciples were in a room and Jesus entered how many people for supper?

2 - Where will you go when you die?

And your language test was along the lines of;

1 - Fill in the missing words.

My sister is a b _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Two _ _ _ _ _ _ crackers is plenty.

Essay question.

Where will you go when you die?

I'd flunk the Maxwell test because I can't figure out the answer to this. :my_sad:

I've sometimes toyed with the idea of writing a 'truthful' christmas letter -

Totally off-Maxwell-topic but I was just reminded of how much I miss The Toast, where they posted such delightful parody as John Steinbeck's Christmas Letter.

Me too.

Belieber? Better than rubies? bushy-eyebrowed gummy smiler? brunette for jesus?

More than one word to describe someone is serious overkill and a waste of valuable time. Time you could spend contemplating where you will go when you die! :my_biggrin:

Darn!  I suppose you'll give @bertnee three animal crackers for getting it right and me none!

I'll be in my room pouting.

Bertnee will get two and appreciated it!

At this advanced level we always have bonus questions. So.

Dusting _ _ _ _ _ _ _ fans is both worthwhile and an appropriate activity for girls.

The room you share with your half-generation-younger sisters, I hope?

Found Tyler's twitter and instagram, for anyone who's interested... https://mobile.twitter.com/_tjons

https://www.instagram.com/tylerschade99/

Also per his LinkedIn he graduated from homeschool in 2015...so definitely more for Mary if any of the girls. He's currently attending Thomas Edison State University (Computer Science degree). Is that the school, or one of the schools that you can do College Minus through?

@Trynn and @PennySycamore

I thought the same thing, even though the amount of letters is not the same. I felt kinda stupid after that, but I am glad I'm not the only one who had that thought, ha!

Their website specifically states:

"You are eligible to become an undergraduate student at Thomas Edison State University if you are:

An adult 21 years of age or older (unless you are participating in a special college program)

A high school graduate or have successfully passed a General Educational Development (GED) test

Individuals not meeting this criteria, but who feel they warrant special consideration for other reasons may petition the director of Admissions and present appropriate documentation to support their being accepted to the University. Students admitted through special consideration are subject to the same academic policies and requirements as those admitted unconditionally.

You do not need to take the SAT or ACT."

http://www.tesu.edu/admissions/undergrad-admissions.cfm

So I think the Maxwell kidults would be OK there. Of course the program is over the computer, so they can "go" to class from the safety of their home umbrella.

He seems to have a life of his own from looking at twitter and Instagram, he has friends and travels even if it is just to conferences. Maybe he will show them slowly you can go on a bike ride or run alone and listen to music and it's not ungodly. He has Spotify, goes to coffee shops alone and seems to have friends...

How old is this guy. He looks do young.

His Instagram handle is tylerschade99; if that's a reference to his birth year, he'd be 17.
