Has anyone watched Jackie Robinson.  It was very well done.

I almost stated a thread on the documentary! (I did post something on Jackie Robinson Day in Sports.)  I loved it.  I already knew a lot about Jackie Robinson, but I learned some new things.  I didn't know of the things like base-stealing and sacrifices that were from the Negro Leagues.  i'd forgotten, if I ever knew, that Mack Robinson won the Silver in the 200M Hurdles at the 1936 Olympics.  I had heard before that the Robinson's had lived with Carly Simon's family for a while but I'd forgotten.

Rachel Robinson is an amazing, beautiful woman.  I should look half so good at 94!
