Bates Family Part 5

I've started to think that maybe Lawson is being used as a misdirection by the two families as a way to hide a real courtship between another Bates & Duggar couple. If Lawson was really courting, UP would probably request that he be less obvious. It'll be very interesting to see what happens, although  I really don't want a Bates girl  paired with a Duggar  boy. I feel like Jim Bob  would try to make her keep sweet.

It is pretty clear that Gil is perfectly willing lie and play dirty when it comes to keeping the IBLP money from going to victims. I don't know why anyone can continue thinking he isn't as bad as Jim Bob. He is just as bad or worse.

I've never seen a single solitary shred of evidence that Gil Bates is better than Jim Bob Duggar in any way. They seem like two of a kind.

all of the lolz if this is true. i can just see lawson having a laugh as he watched almost two full discussions fill up with speculation about him and jinger over on the duggar boards, all the time knowing he was just purposely leading us on. if this was on purpose, then all i can say is bravo.

Re:Lawson too wordly Correction: Duggars are too worldly for the Bateses. Personally,I wouldn't want to be married into either family. FormerGothardite@ just reminded us they are cut from the same cloth.

I thought that Joe was courting Tori. But this video throws that theory out the door.

My courtship predictions now:

1. Nathan and Ashley

2. Joe and Carlin

I don't think Lawson is courting anyone. Why would he? He is living the life. Watching The Voice and singing secular songs.

Has Alyssa worn a repeat outfit since she's been married? Has Allie Jane? I think she's gone a little credit card happy since leaving the Bates abode.

Also, I don't think that having two kids close together means Alyssa will be a brood mare and have twenty. But, I guess we'll see.

Are we sure that's Carlin? The picture/video are blurry & Carlin & Tori have always looked similar to me. I watched the video a couple times it was moving too fast for me to identify everyone.

I agree they look a lot alike, but I think that's Carlin. Tori has a very round face like my daughter, and Carlin has a bigger nose like my daughter's half-sister. Carlin and my former step-daughter are very beautiful, imo; I'm not criticizing their noses at all (or Tori and my DD's round faces). Just pointing out that these Bates girls remind me of some gorgeous girls I know irl.

That was definitely Carlin.  While they're both pretty they are very different looking in my opinion.  It's interesting that Amy deleted that video.  Just like the video Lawson deleted of Jinger.  Could be that something is going on and they don't want people to know right now or nothing is going on and they don't want to mislead people and sully the girl's reputations.

I really, really hope this gets the news coverage that the Josh scandal did and that it brings down the Bates family just like it did the Duggars. Gil is being accused of helping cover up and victim blame the abuse of teens who had already been sexually abused, often times as small children. He is one nasty, vile person and is absolutely no better than Jim Bob and I hope people will start seeing that. 

I'm guessing UP and the Bates will keep on trying to gloss over this and keep pretending this is just a wholesome family.

Carlin's only seventeen. I thought the Bateses/Duggars set a rule of you have to be at least 18 to court? Marjorie was probably an exception since she wasn't part of the family. And there is no way in hell Meechelle would let any of her kids hold hands in the purely courting stage. We all know how pissed she was when Ben and Jessa did so pre-engagement.

HA. I remembered. I guess JB did not tell her that Ben is about to be proposed to or something. The older girls "rumored" they want to follow after Anna age of at least 21. The boys have not made an announcement of their age criteria. I appears that their dad will provide a house like Josiah had noted in an interview.

I don't remember the Duggars having any age rules but Kelly said she prefers that her kids are at least 18.  If they are a couple they could be in the pre-courting stage.
