Lorken don't sin like all you sinning sinners

Recommended Posts

And let's face it: Pretty sure that the Bible tells Christians to flee appearances of evil. Unless Ken's going to tell us that the Bible didn't really mean to use the word "flee" but should instead have said something like, "Dangle your feet in the evil pond" or "flirt with evil just don't put your penis in it."

almost did a spit-take on that one

Lori's been pretty open about her lack of desire, and she and Ken constantly repeat that it's the man who has the testosterone and therefore the "sexual needs".

Are there so many orthodontists in Europe that it was really necessary to do tons of business trips there, and was it really impossible to build a practice just in the US?

Since I have no life today, I was wondering about his practice in Europe and popped out to look at the link on his website.

Mon Dieu!

Ken's French colleague is a woman! A woman of "a certain age" (read that Ken's Age) who is clearly a professional, working woman. She consults, she speaks at conferences, she has youtube videos of her presentations. She does not appear to be Ken in Drag.

martinementhonnex.com goes to a sparse website.

But searching Martine Menthonnex goes to her linked in page. And the other things.

I wonder if she knows how anti woman working Ken is?

Excuse me but I'm just going back to work on my company website and talk to myself in very bad French.

And probably giggle from time to time.

Ken is still trying to defend his stance on porn today. I think he must have gotten a lot of comments and emails disagreeing with him, but we all know that these two will never back down, no matter how wrong they are. Apparently if your husband is watching porn constantly you are supposed to win him without a word  because if you bring it up it is just your silly woman feelings talking. Ken has absolutely no respect for women.

A woman’s greatest weakness is usually her need to process her thoughts and her realities through her feelings. To believe that her feelings somehow become a part of reality because of how strongly her flesh feels them

Just a reminder, this is the man who claims that Jesus didn't really mean it when he said that any man who looks at a woman with lust in his heart commits adultery because Ken doesn't FEEL like doing that and actual sex are the same thing. Who is making the fleshly feelings into reality now Ken?

I quit trying to comment on there blog because they have absolutely no humility and refuse to even consider another viewpoint. Their twisting of scripture makes my eye twitch and I found that commenting just made me more and more angry.

Plus...I was banned.

Ken, fella, if you want to look at porn, look at porn. Lori can't do anything about it if she doesn't like it, right? So look at the porn. No one else gives a rip.

A man's greatest weakness is looking at porn and a woman's is getting all emotional and over reacting to it. So women need to stop their sin cause men won't be stopping tjeirs. Is that anout the gist of it. And porn is loke an inoperable tumor and jerking off will make you blind. Or something.

I never really know what Ken is trying to say, but this post did make me wonder if he was saying to Lori "You found a way to deal with that tumor...you can find a way to deal with my porn." It's clear he doesn't want to stop looking at porn and he's furiously trying to find ways minimize and justify his own personal train wreck. Most Christian men, when talking about porn, would remind husbands how destructive it is in a marriage and how likely they are to lose their family if they don't stop. Not Ken. No, he has to spend his time telling women how minor it is in the whole scheme of things. After all, it's not a brain tumor.

Are we going to get another of Ken's sermons this weekend? I wonder if he asked his church leaders if they'd let him preach a series of sermons and they told him no; that's why he's "preaching" a weekly sermon on a woman's blog. It's so odd to me that he has the time to post on the blog so frequently. Most men would just start a blog of their own and "mentor" men; but that wouldn't allow him to so openly hate women and also troll for potential dates.

I think that Ken doesn't like men to disagree with him so he is never going to start a blog for men. It is easier for him to dismiss the concerns of women so he is just going to continue taking over Lori's blog. If he had lots of men telling him he was wrong about porn and the damage it can do to marriages he couldn't tell them that they are just relying on feelings he would have to actually address what they said, and we all know Ken can't do that.

I’m beginning to think the real reason for Lori’s comments going on moderation is the fact that they’re heretics and have been getting serious flack from their Christian base. Between the “real Christians don’t sin†post and the “porn is no big deal†posts, I don’t know how their Christian audience ISN’T reacting.

i would say that's a good bet. lori's hardcore followers are so steeped in her kool-aid, they'll accept anything she says, and i think that's all she really cares about.

*edit* because omg user title idea! steeped in the kool-aid XD oh i slay myself

In this regard, Lori is sort of a cult leader. Or maybe Debi Pearl is the cult leader and Lori is just a priestess.

I wonder how many hardcore followers she actually have and how many are just people who are making up "You are so wise! I agree with all you say" shit to see how far they can go before Lori realizes she is being mocked? The porn and the "it is totally not adultery to make out with a woman who isn't my wife" posts are enough to drive off the average fundie and fundie-lite.

Wow, after skimming Ken's Blog Post today I wonder.. Is Lori sicker again? And, since she is too sick for sex, he's using more and more porn? But it's OK, cause a man has needs and women are stupid and emotional....

I mean, that is how it comes across....

I was going to do a quick song or poem, but decided Ken's Theme was already out there and well known.

Ken, this one's for you......

I think I said this before. But sometimes I'm reading Lori's blog and I have a fleeting thought "What if this whole thing, including the comments, are all Poes?"

Oh yeah, between their alcohol use, dancing, "Christian risque" dress and obsession with sex, my parents would have banned Lori from the house so fast her IP would spin. She's the weirdest kind of fundy I've ever encountered and maybe the most dangerous. At least when nonreligious people come across someone wearing a frumper, canvas tennis shoes, a head covering, no makeup and hair down to their butts, they know right off that this person has some strict religious beliefs. Lori and Ken, otoh, come across as normal, everyday Californians who slip their vile "theology" and beliefs in when you least expect it:

"So, there was this big fire in my neighborhood the other day, and I'm not good in emergencies, so I freaked the flip out and panicked and started calling everyone I knew to save me."

"Funny story, Lori. So what happened next?"

"God told me that women were useless stupid bitches who can't do crap for themselves, can't handle emergencies and must have husbands to save them."

Or ...

"So then this woman I know came home and found her husband and this other woman naked in their bed, and she was devastated. They weren't actually having PIV sex, but they were doing everything BUT."

"Oh wow! That must have been awful for her!"

"Well, it was certainly awful for her husband because then she was mad at him. And the sin of anger is way worse than the not-adultery that was going on. Besides, she wasn't there to meet her husband's sex needs, so the whole thing was all her fault in the first place."

Well, two of them have beem me; I have one very earnest persona and one very weepy one. I haven't outed myself on here because Ken can't keep his eyes off of FJ (or porn, it seems! You dirty birdie!). I suspect there are some other Jingers on there who have not revealed themselves yet.

It's hilarious to think the blog consists completely of Jingers, Lori and Ken's socks, and Cabinetman.

I keep kicking myself for outing my secret identity over at Klorien's blog. I'm thinking of ways to get back in since I've been banned. It's so funny - I've always been such a rule follower. I was never in trouble at school, never even had a speeding ticket. To be banned over at that blog feels somewhat (deliciously) naughty and liberating.

I will say that the reason I infiltrated the blog was because Ken would not answer a very specific and simple question here on FJ.

Oh, now I remember what I was going to say! Today's post has been up for 7 hours and I can see only one comment. Is anybody else seeing something different?

Lori must be busy kicking puppies and beating her grand children.

Either Lorken is busy today or they aren't getting any comments that agree with them. They are going to find it hard to find Christians who agree with their stance on porn and adultery.

I've never posted on their blog, but if I did I would be tempted to spend months, possible a year or so, kissing up to and agreeing with them and then start sweetly asking questions. Or I would pose as a man who agrees with them and present some extreme situations where I am abusing my wife just to see if Ken would pick up on the abuse or agree with it. The thing with Ken and Lori, they always suspect the people who question them as being trolls, but it would never occur to them that the people agreeing with them might be trolling.

I was thinking today that their views and posts have become so bizarre, what are the odds they don't even exist? Lorken could be a big hairy dude sitting in his parents' basement in his underwear, getting a kick out of winding up FJers so much. I can see him scratching his balls and swigging a Coke as he tries to come up with increasingly outrageous posts and comments.

If it wasn't for all the personal pictures she uses that match his business page, his business FB page, and her daughter's blog I would think they were made up. Sadly I think they are real and just as horrible as they sound.

From Ken:

Interestingly, I have probably suffered greatly, but each time I view much of my sufferings I discount them because there is great joy that went with them, at least in the end. When we know that Jesus is in our sufferings as we have entered into His sufferings, it is so much easier to handle the issue of a chronically sick wife, or to crisscross the US and Europe serving others. It would be so easy for me to just stop helping others and seek my own interests and pleasures, but that is not the life God called us to, is it?

"...to crisscross the US and Europe serving others?" Serving others? SERVING? OTHERS?

Um.... :? What? Is he a missionary? Seriously, have I missed something? I thought he traveled for his work as a consultant. I want to be certain of this before I go all snarktastic on that statement.

Also, something about having "...to handle the issue of a chronically sick wife," just irks me. So sorry, Ken, that your wife's brain tumor has made things a little inconvenient for you.

I have criss crossed the US "serving others" as a software trainer and my husband did so as a management and tech consultant, rather like what Ken does. Yes, "we served others", for very nice billable hour rates plus expenses. I am not going to weep for Ken's suffering like Christ in his travels, even if he does want to compare racking up the airline points and living on room service to being scourged and crucified. (Ken has some real issues with what suffering really is....) Travel is not always fun--but if you don't like it, change your career or job duties. My husband and I changed our lives so now we travel together--and usually don't stay where their is room service--but still manage not to suffer.

Without ignoring the challenges of being a caretaker for an ill spouse (or child or parent) he is not full time in that role (or he'd not be crisscrossing anywhere). Wouldn't it be Lori who faces the larger challenge in that situation, rather than Ken?
