I remember Janet Lynn very well. She was just so beautiful on the ice. Janet didn't win Olympic gold due to Trixie Schuba's (from the Netherlands) strength in school figures which counted for 60% of the score. Janet did win everyone's heart, though, by her stunning free skate. Skating officials knew that Janet was the superior skater, but they were stuck. They did start to change the way skating was judged though to help prevent another travesty.

I am disappointed to hear that Janet scored Rudy so low. Where would skating be without the gay men? Janet's performed with some of them like John Curry or maybe she didn't know that.

I came upon a blog of a SAHD. She has a post about the Doug Phillips mess.

She and her family were quite upset about the whole thing :

The only person to blame for Doug not keeping his tool in his pants is Doug. I don't care if there was a naked woman standing right in front of him offering him sex and cupcakes, he still should have said no. If she had offered him a million dollars to sleep with her, he still should have said no. Unless the woman raped him (and she didn't, from Doug's confession he consented to everything-even if we don't know whether she did), Doug cheating on his wife is his fault.

Im guessing Doug wont feel guilty that he has upset his followers and made them feel like that girl and her family do-or even that he has likely upset Beall by betraying her. Or for his workers, who will likely lose their jobs because nobody likes VF anymore. I think all he cares about is that he loses money and followers who adore him.

oh but you are wrong...Kathryn Neely ( of ATI Neely family) says everyone just didn't Pray HARD enough for him. She states that Doug Phillips is one of the greatest truth seekers/leaders ever and they should all remember that.
