RIP Matthew Perry

Actor and comedian Matthew Perry has died from an apparent drowning. He was 54. He was best known for portraying the character Chandler on the show Friends.

This one was a big shock. I gasped when I saw the headline. Absolutely devastating.

This is the first time since probably Luke Perry dying that I've been shocked at an actor's death. Such a difficult ending.

Very sad. He was so talented. He could take a regular sentence and make you laugh at the way he said it. 
 

I read that he based Chandler on a friend of his.

This one hurt.  The show was such a huge part of my young adulthood.  Friends has always been one of the shows now that I will just comfort watch and now it will be different. 

Everyone seems to speak so highly of him.  It is amazing the number of people he touched through his work in entertainment but also through his honesty about his addictions.
