Thanks, it’s mostly just stress from everything: Covid, the election, we’re significantly understaffed at work in part due to Covid and in part due to other issues, and a relative with progressing dementia issues.

There are a lot of engagements without wedding dates that I think that has a lot to do with the pandemic. I bet that the overall average length of engagement is a little longer for fundies right now due to Covid. Which I think is a good thing. Those short engagements are not a good idea. Especially when it’s a couple of teens getting married.

I would bet they disagreed over where to live. Her feed is solely about her family and NY friends.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but Marjorie Jackson, Josiah Duggar's ex, went to Washington D.C. She is currently living there and working for the Family Research Council (FRC). If the FRC sounds familiar, it's where Josh Duggar used to work.

oh wow. I guess I'm still glad Marjorie escaped being married and pregnant at 18, even if I disagree with how she spends her freedom. actually, it's surprising no more Duggars have tried to follow in Josh's footsteps like that (although I guess FRC etc might be wary of being burned again). Maybe Jed! might try for Washington, now he's been rejected by the Arkansas public. Anyway, yay Marjorie, and also, boo Marjorie.
