I'd like to ask Stevie boy if that picture offends him and why.  Does it offend because the little girl is naked or does it offend because this girl's clothes were on fire from the napalming and that's why she was naked?

That picture was on the front page of newspapers all across America, btw.

I was going to post basically the same thing. As a daughter of a veteran, Sarah should know that not all those in the military are soldiers. In fact, would Steve want us to call him "Soldier"?  Wasn't he an Airman?? A Soldier has earned his/her title, just as every Marine, Sailor and Airman has earned his/her title.  Get it right, maxwells!!

Also, her point about those who are affected by PTSD from head injuries?? What the ever loving heck?  Many sufferers of PTSD have not had a head injury.  

I won't discuss her deplorable tirade about abortion on this day set aside to remember our fallen. I just can't with these people.

I'm confused about Sarah's remark about head injuries.  She referred to PSTD.  Did she mean PTSD and just write it wrong?  If so, yes, as @usmcmom said there are many sufferers of PTSD that have not had head injuries.  I looked up PSTD, as Sarah wrote it, in case I was missing something, but most sites corrected that acronym to PTSD.  Well, except for the Urban dictionary which tells me PSTD means Porn Site Transmitted Disease.  Probably not what Sarah meant.

@Black Aliss,  the first time I ever saw pre-born used was in some propaganda bullshit from the American "Life" League.  Unborn implies that the fetus might not be born and pre-born implies that, of course, it will be born unless you "murder" it.  Pre-born hasn't entered the language except usage by anti-choice groups.

I think if they had any class, any at all, they would have saved their BS opinion for a different post.  To the best of my knowledge, they've enjoyed the CHOICE of not serving in the military and I doubt they vote for candidates who are anti-war.

Fortunately, I doubt that their spewing changes anyone's mind - about anything.

To them and others in the Quiverfull movement, abortion is the ONE issue, the end-all and be-all, the reason why they practice this distorted form of Christianity. NOTHING else matters more than saving fetuses.

Which is why all the fundies I know happily voted for Trump last November. They didn't care that he is a serial adulterer, molester, cheat and a crook. All that mattered to them was that he claimed to be anti-abortion, which must be a fairly recent stance because he bragged openly when Melania was pregnant that he would let her continue the pregnancy only if she could guarantee that nothing about her body would be different afterwards.

Or doesn't think that PTSD can arise from experiencing traumatic things even without getting physically injured, and that you only get messed up mentally if you get bonked on the head. Given what a lot of fundies think about mental illness, I wouldn't be surprised if that was her line of thinking.
