I'm pretty sure repentant unwed mothers who tithe 10% of the their income to the pisser are forgiven all right. Especially if that's 10% of a decent income.

Alyssa Carone! OMG.

I regret that I'm not going to be able to provide links for all this stuff, I'm going off memory of a series of Facebook discussions that occurred over a year ago.

This is her second marriage. She had four children in her first marriage and lost custody to her ex-husband. The ex showed up to the FB page and posted his observations. One of the things I remember is the kids from marriage #1 were freaked out about going with Alyssa for visitation because they (a) were having to stay in a skeevy motel and (b) Alyssa was taking them evangelizing. You know, door to door.

If memory serves, she met Nathan Carone when she went to a PP evangelizing "event" in Dearborn. I believe the falling-out with PP is over the fact that she is divorced and remarried to Nathan (and Nathan might be is -has 2 kids-as well). This is why she's sympathetic to the divorced and remarried Kent Hovind, who PP is also attacking for remarrying.

As for Nathan Carone, I think this article from 2009 says volumes.

http://www.mlive.com/news/detroit/index.ssf/2009/12/lone_protester_berates_custome.html

I did a bit of digging and was able to track down this Guardian Ad Litem report for the child custody issues from Alyssa's first marriage. It's 14 pages, but I think some of you may find it interesting/revealing as to some of Alyssa's motivations.

This is so sad

[daughter] reports that spanking are still used. Specifically, [daughter] indicates that Mother beat her on her feet till they bleed because [daughter] refused to participate in Mother’s religious outreach. [daughter] indicates that the beatings and spankings are embarrassing to her. When I asked what she meant she stated that she is embarrassed she did not stand up for herself and her refusal to participate or for her siblings. [daughter] is concerned that her Mother is getting married after having known Nathan for less than a few months. The children indicate that they find Nate to be͞ "creepy" and do not wish to be alone with him. The children report that Mother has favorites based upon who is endorsing her religion and practicing the outreach the best.

It seems that Ms. Carone is not happy with us because I would not take down this (3 page, buried) thread.  We had a little back and forth in email today.  She still doesn't understand the difference between libel and slander, but she apparently did figure out my description of fair use because she decided to "steal" pictures from the forum and make a little post about us.

I offered to talk to her attorney, but since (s)he didn't understand the difference between libel and slander either, I suspect that his name was something like G---le, Lolyer ;)

This is where Ms. Carone is going to learn about the "Streisand Effect"

Here is her post, for your enjoyment: https://faithbylove.wordpress.com/2017/07/20/free-ginger-the-stalking-defamatory-and-copy-right-breaching-atheist-forum/#more-7956

Some high (or low) lights:

They have stolen numerous photos from my blog breaching copyright so they can have something to discuss because the life of an Atheist is so extremely boring and noneventful their only pleasure comes from causing Christians harm.

I've read this thread 3 freaking times today.  We have 3 screenshots taken from her blog (which is insanely narrow on mobile apparently)

Quote

They are even as sick as talking about my new baby Bethy, my deceased baby I lost in December, and my new pregnancy a baby boy which they wish numerous ills on.

I saw a couple mention of what I assume are Bethy's amazing facial expressions.  There were no mentions of a deceased baby (which no one on FJ would make fun of anyway) or her new pregnancy.  Until she emailed her, I had never even seen this blip on our radar thread.

Quote

Why do people slander other people?

I'm only quoting this because I told her not less than 4 times that slander is spoken and she means libel, which we still aren't doing.

Recently I was contacted by a millionare who wanted a graphic design project done by me from my home after he saw my paintings and web images he contacted me to work on a big name product label. He said my designs stood out to him unlike all the other graphic designers who do nothing but play mindless hours of video games and make everything neon green my images have color and life and he wanted to use me. However he became discouraged by the slander involving my name by these Atheists and was concerned that if he used my design for his reputable product his customers may find this slander and boycott so the Atheist forum libel has lost me work.

Yep, our 3 page thread that hadn't been looked at in months until 1 comment July 6, is what ruined the job with a millionaire for her......

It goes on with the usual

burning in hell?  check

all atheists?  check

fat? check

ugly?  check

trolls?  check

You must read it in all its glory and be thankful that her older kids are not being homeschooled.

(Note: all typos, misspellings, grammar errors, punctuation, etc are in the original.  I only claim my own )

LMAO

Sadly, that was the least of her grammar and spelling sins. I pray to any and all relevant gods (not an atheist by the way) that she isn't home schooling because I'm horrified at her English skills.

I'm guessing the Shupe and maybe even Naugler kids are in better shape in that regard.  I guess Erika put her kids in public school now though, so maybe that's not a fair comparison.  JillR's kids?

It seems that Alyssa has had a falling out with PP and is (possibly) still pro-Hovind, but it's hard for me to suss out their....relationship because everything I've found pretty much just says she's crazy and then talks about Hovind.

Oh, sweet Rufus. "Tyquan do".

I'm not a perfect speller, but really? My mother would be appalled. (To quote Mr. Humphries from Are You Being Served?)

I do feel sorry for anyone pregnant in the heat we've had this year.  However, she is making a choice to be in a hot ass vehicle handing out tracts all day rather than inside in nice cool air somewhere.

Praise Rufus I had avoided this wild hare until she began harassing us today.

She Her lawyer probably had to look up fair use and realized it was spelled differently.  Or got a spell check that works once in a while?

Welcome from lurkdom @legalbeagle  The rule is once you start posting you have to keep doing it, so we expect to see more from you ;)

She also has quite an ego if she thinks we are just about her.  She had a measly 3 pages that hadn't been looked at in 2 weeks (and it was started in February.  We do 3 pages a day on Nauglers, Duggars, Lori Alexander, etc).  She was on no one's radar here until she decided to "get me back" or whatever her grand plan is.

The truly hilarious thing about the whole rant is that I'd be really surprised if the majority of people on FJ were atheists. My perception is that it's probably Christians of various varieties first. There's also a pretty decent minority of pagans of various flavors who, while they don't believe in the Christian god, are not in fact atheists. Then there's the Jewish and Muslim FJ'rs. That's not to say that we don't have atheists, because we do, but the perception that we are a bunch of godless, atheist, whores of Babylon has always confused me.

Also, I have plenty of pleasures in my life, and my hair is not blue (though I've been tempted to change that on occasion).

Don't forget the agnostics.  I'm sure we have some of those.  We have people trying to decide where there are on the spiritual walk and people that don't like organized religion but have a spiritual relationship with the deity of their choice.

We are a microcosm of the world :)

Totally. If I left your religious persuasion out of my long (for me) post, I mean no offense FJ. I just don't quite understand the atheists omfg! thing.

As far as I am concerned, any and all religious paths or life beliefs that serve light and try to do the right thing for fellow humans are valid.

I think it's because they *need* an...advasary?  villan?  Something like that.

It doesn't really sound dramatic to say a bunch of Christians of all stripes said mean stuff about me.  It's also a lot more typing (and chances for typos

She's tempting me to dye my hair purple.  I want to fit in but not be totally mixed in with all the blue hair.

Talk about the :dramallama-nanner:parading through town.

I would do blue (or likely purple) hair in a NY minute.  However, my hair is really dark brown with reddish highlight and it would have to be bleached to make it a lighter color.   I have watched way too many people both on TV and in RL try to bleach their hair and end up with some horrible orange or green nastiness and I'm not down for that.

So I have to just be boring old brunette
