Josh's NSFW twitter?

I disagree. The links that are there are based in speculation rather than any sort of concrete link, which makes me wonder why anyone thought this belonged to him in the first place. As others have pointed out in this thread, many people have used that photo for anonymous accounts online, to the point that the actual person in the picture had to change the settings on his own facebook. The photo is an extremely tenuous link. The timeline is more interesting, but on its own it doesn't really mean anything. He hasn't used that username or any variation on it in his other accounts, the email is different, the name is different, and the content is different.

I can't say conclusively that this doesn't belong to Josh, of course, nobody can. But there's also no real evidence that it is his, and people who are talking about it as though it's confirmed somehow are going to confuse people about what accounts we actually know to belong to him off more than just 'wouldn't it be funny?' People are only talking about the account in the first place because it was linked in the comments section of ontd, it's not exactly the most reliable source.

It's been years since I read ONTD, and I'm sure some of their digging is totally legit. But the email address doesn't match, and isn't that what they were using to justify the connection? I think it's more likely that they pulled up the profile while doing a reverse image search on the photo, thought that this would make good Josh fodder, and fudged how they found it. Certainly the photo has been used more widely than just by Josh -- after all, it doesn't look like he plucked it from obscurity, but instead did a search for a random, relatively attractive guy to use for his creepy facade. The date of the last post would jive with the first scandal in May, but I don't think that's conclusive.

Additionally -- while he listed a lot of "wants" on his Ashley Madison profile, some of them contradictory or all-emcompassing (long hair, short hair, aggressive, quiet, whatever), one that stood out to me is NATURAL BREASTS. If they had an option for natural breasts, they must have had an option for enhanced breasts. He didn't select both of those like he selected multiple other options.

I realize people's preferences in porn don't necessarily match their preferences for the real-life nitty gritty, but this doesn't seem like Josh to me, even if he was trying out a profane, MILF-loving alter-ego.

While I have no idea if that's his Twitter or not, I wanted to share a story with you guys I thought you might find a bit interesting. In college I worked part time as a phone sex operator. I've barely told anyone this. My god, the money was SO good for being in school (about 60K a year, we were paid per call and I was always a top earner). I stopped because once in awhile you'd get a REALLY unsettling call...and it just got to me.

Anyway, it's amazing what some of these men would reveal to you, especially if they became your "regular" (they could chose the girl they wanted to talk to). Before the actual dirty stuff started, most wanted to warm up with small talk. Sometimes my regulars would call me *just* to talk and vent. The amount of men I spoke with regularly in high powered positions looking to unwind was crazy. LOTS of DC area codes. I had several politicians as regulars who after a many calls would often ask to exchange emails. Some of them (stupidly) gave me WORK (.gov) emails, and I was able to Google who they were. The men who's identities I knew all stood (ironically) on conservative values platforms.

The other thing I almost always found men in positions of power / political affiliations to have were very similar fetishes. They wanted to roleplay submissive acts, with me being the dominatrix. I don't want to get too vulgar on the board, but lots of "I want you to insert XYZ into my XYZ" "Make me say 'Yes Goddess! I'll do anything you want, Goddess'. I'm not a psychologist, but it seemed to me like the guys who held the most day to day power, were turned on and wanted to unwind doing the exact opposite, fantasy wise.

So while people may thing Josh possibly couldn't be into lesbian p*rn based on his religious ideals...don't be so sure. Because from my experience talking to thousands of men, fantasies and kinks are VERY open the polar opposites of reality.

There's a twitter user @joesmithsonnwa who doesn't share email with the fake facebook account or the toughguyy11 twitter account, but the profile picture used is, according to a tineye search, used by different people on different online dating sites like OkCupid, howaboutwe, meetme, speeddate, a swingers site and some others. Just like the "random guy" picture Josh used on OkCupid. @joesmithsonnwa on twitter has also listed "Birmingham, AL" just like on Josh's fake facebook profile. There are only a few tweets and no followers or following, but in one of the tweets he is writing about if you're going to follow him, remember to do it "with your special account under a different name." IF this is Josh, than it seems like he too would have a "special account" and a "different name," since that account was only used for writing 4 tweets in 15 minutes and talking about other special accounts. If Josh is @joesmithsonnwa on twitter too, could it be that "toughguyy11" is Josh's "special account"?

Why do we think that happened? There's not a lot of content on his twitter aside from retweeted boobs, it seems really odd that this woman would follow that account. Could it be that whoever owns the account accidentally followed her, she followed back, and then the account owner realized what they'd done and unfollowed? I'm trying to figure out why on earth she in particular would be following the boob account. Does Josh's official twitter follow this woman? If the boob twitter did belong to him, it could have been a 'forgot to log out last time and am now on the wrong account' thing? (I don't have twitter so it prompts me to sign up any time I try to look at the followers/following stuff, so I'm hoping someone else here who is interested would be willing to check so I don't have to make an account :shifty: )

I tried to edit my post, but it was too late, so I have to quote myself because I wanted to add something. The picture used for the joesmithsonnwa twitter account is the second one that comes up when I do a (image) google search for "random guy." And the toughguyy11 twitter account was created june 1st 2014, just about a month before Josh's second account/registration on AM with the affiar guarantee.

I think that's stretching it, honestly. I work in social media and this is the likely cause: She followed him randomly without looking at his content.

Look at her follower vs following ratio. This is a business that's been looking for followers. It's not uncommon for small businesses (especially competitve fields like photography) to follow and hope to get users to following them back. This used to be the advice small businesses were given to network before it was realized that doesn't actually work most of the time.

How did she find him? Who knows. Local search? Following something mutual? Maybe the email address for "John" was linked with an email address from her gmail. Or if could have been part of one of those Like4Like accounts.

It doesn't actually look like she's manually using twitter much. Most of her posts seem to be things she's posted via apps in other places. For instance, instagram will automatically post to your FB or Twitter streams. You can link all of your social media and essentially post everything, everywhere at once these days.
