Charges laid in the Rehtaeh Parsons case

Rehtaeh Parsons was the Nova Scotia teenager who committed suicide this spring after being raped by four boys and then enduring years of cyberbullying at the hands of her rapists and others, who circulated images of the attack and mocked and blamed her for what happened. No charges of rape were ever laid.

Yesterday it was announced that two boys were arrested and charged with child pornography.

It certainly comes too late for Rehtaeh, but hopefully it will go a little way in helping her family to heal.

That poor girl. I'm glad they've brought charges, but still...too little, too late.

It's some small consolation that they have charged her attackers and they finally face some justice. But, I agree too little too late for this young girl.
