XGay Greg & Dede Haislip- phantom pregnancy?

I lived in a nursing home for four years. CNAs don't give out meds - that is strictly the purview of the nurses. They can take temperatures and write some progress reports on the residents as well as what was listed above. Where I was, a few of the more senior aides were trained to help residents with some of their physical therapy. When I was in the hospital, the CNAs there would take blood pressure readings.

This varies by state- regulations are different in each state, and different facilities do things differently per their procedures. In the long term care facility I worked at in one state, CNAs could take a course sponsored by their employer that certified them to give meds, but there were very strict rules regarding how the meds were to be prepared by nurses and set out in daily doses for distribution by a certified CNA. In the sate where I work now, only nurses can do meds.

On topic, I still think this lady is batshit crazy, even if she's not making it all up.

It's interesting that she had an actual due date, but now says God will determine her due date. If God was on board all along, why'd she have a due date at all?

I had this thought also!

Stone babies start out as real pregnancies. They implant outside the uterus so you don't get the typical uterine growth. They are very, very rare. They are usually accompanied by pain since the baby is growing in the abdomen or pelvis, not in the uterus. Given she doesn't report pain, has a swollen abdomen, and a husband with a vasectomy I would still vote for hysterical pregnancy first, ovarian cyst second.

^ this.

There is no way this isn't a joke. I don't care how many family members she has on FB who seem real, I've witnessed larger circles of "friends" that were all made up. (See 'Emily Dirr' on warriorelihoax.com for an example.)

I just spent the last hour reading that blog. hahaha Thank you for new entertainment!

Some people are a special kind of crazy and I really do feel bad for them.

Okay, did anyone else see her say that she was auditioning for "Real Housewives Atlanta"?

"Dede Haislip

I'm going to audition for "Housewives of Atlanta"! I'm so excited! I've really got a shot at it...especially with an exgay husband!"

Nene & Phadera would rip her to shreds.

I guess God got her report confused with someone else's. I wonder where human resources is for her to file a complaint...

When I was a Navy Nurse I thought I was pregnant. My husband and I had been TTC for 2 years. There were no home tests then. My lab test was positive, we were ecstatic. Another Navy Nurse who had been trying for one month had a test the same day, negative. She was so bummed out over her negative test and jealous of my positive test. Guess who had a baby several months later? It wasn't me. Later fertility testing showed our only hope for conception would be donor sperm.

I skimmed her blog back to 2008. She's been batshit for a LONG TIME! Her blog is really vague on specifics and seems to skip over the divorce (actually has no discussion of "abuse" and hardly references her husband at all), but it does say that her "new job" is supervising certified nursing assistants.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt a CNA essentially an orderly or tech? As in, changes bandages, hands out pills, takes BP, cleans the room? This isnt a person that actually has medical interaction with a patient?

In the US, in a hospital setting, CNAs mostly take vital signs, tests blood glucose, help patients to and from the bathroom, grab water and snacks from the kitchen if you need it, sometimes change the beds (though it's almost always the nurse who does that), answer nurse call buttons if assigned nurse is busy (deliver messages to nurse), etc. At least in my state, they do NOT administer pills (nurse only), change wound dressings (nurse only), or clean the rooms (that's for the cleaning staff a.k.a. "Environmental Services).

They DO have direct patient contact - they assist the nurse.

I've been hooked on those fakers and that blog since the first one that they outed (Eli, whom the blog is named for). I wanted to start a thread here for it, but not sure where it would go, since I don't think it's appropriate to snark on the blog itself. Fascinating psychology, though.

Kind of a minor question in this sea of cray-cray, but why exactly did her husband HAVE a vasectomy 23 years ago if he was, you know, gay? Or had he already prayed it away by then and was just being responsible when dealing with his new-found heterosexual lust?

I was about to ask the same thing.

Digging through his FB I found out he had a wife, got addicted to porn that "turned" him gay and he divorced his wife, then he moved in with his lover, became "xgay" and then found this new wife, they married in 2010 and she's been pregnant since April 2012 so says God but not the pregnancy test.

And where is the older son from? anybody figure that one out?

He was married at the time. He has 2 adult children from that marriage. He left his first wife because he discovered he was in love with a man.

I think he has two older children, one is a son who served in Afghanistan and just announced his engagement. It's confusing because of the last names. He apparently has two, he uses Haislip but used to use Stingel, which the son who served in the Army uses. That son is Chase, I think he other son is Brooks. Peggy Haislip is xgay's mother, you can check her FB page.

If her job was to supervise CNA s, she may well be an RN. Around here, at nursing homes, the CNAs typically report to a registered nurse.

This woman is nuts. Found it interesting that one of the things that could give a false positive on a pt is an antipsychotic drug. Maybe she was taking it in 2012?

I propose that "XGay" Greg was never gay. I think he is actually Bisexual Greg, but "XGay" makes for a much better testimony.

Edited because I just saw he was married when he got the vasectomy, but I still stand by my theory.

She's got a picture of a family that ate at chick-fil-a all three meals one day. You know, to take a stand for traditional marriage?

Problem-- I'm getting a "ping" from more than o e of the people in that picture. :ugeek:

Yeah thats what I think about the whole 'praying the gay away' thing. They are either bisexual, so attracted to the opposite sex & probably able to just avoid getting an interest in anybody of the same sex. OR They are gay & suppressing their true feelings & most probably very unhappy.

The son in the army seems quite normal. Lots of photos without his top on, beer, sightseeing photos from Germany. I wonder how he feels about the crazy going on with his dad & stepmum?

I can't help imagining the conversation about the dress shirts and jacket.

"Hi, honey! I'm home!"

"Hello, my wonderful ex-gay gift from God!"

"Darling, I came up with the most marvelous idea! You know how I want my message -- let's say it together -- IusedtobegaybutJesussetmefree -- to be displayed everywhere I go?"

"Yes, my angel -- that's why it's on the car:

egTlEvb.jpg

Oh, by the way, we need a new rear bumper -- again."

"Sorry about that."

"And it's on that wonderful t-shirt you wore to Chik-fil-a!"

Is6YGWD.jpg

"Oh, yeah -- I love that t-shirt. Jesus looks really hot -- er, holy on it. But I can't take the car indoors, and t-shirts are just too, too tacky for work. I just can't talk to an audience at a pray-away-the-gay event in a t-shirt."

"I guess not. Oooooh, I think the baby just kicked -- want to feel it?"

"No thanks. So, here's my idea - embroidery!"

"Embroidery?"

"Yes, I'll have my message embroidered on dress shirts -- and on a sports jacket!"

"But won't it get broken up by the buttons?"

"Oh, you silly beotch - er, I mean -- no, my darling! We'll have it embroidered off-center! So chic!

AqJ6yoa.jpg

I'm thinking about a tuxedo, too -- for weddings!"

"Sounds adorable, my angel. Picturing you in those makes me warm all over. Would you like to make love?"

"No thanks -- I think I'll go rearrange my t-shirt drawer for a half-hour or so.That Jesus t-shirt is in there, right?"

It's so odd that these folks just ignore the existence of bisexuality. I wound up in a monogamous relationship with a man, but that doesn't make me straight!

It doesn't seem like Dede currently has custody of her son from her first marriage, which is probably a good thing--this would be a pretty confusing situation for a child of 9 or 10.

This was my first thought when I started reading this blog, even before I read about his first marriage.

As for her, I have a thyroid problem which has caused me to gain weight and I look about 6 months pregnant. My doctor tells me that this is common for people with thyroid problems. A good friend asked me the other day when bub was due. (... and wasn't he embarrassed when I said I was just fat.) I also get strange movements in my belly at times that feel exactly like a baby moving. Wind? A muscle twitching? I don't know. They only started when I was about 30. I think there are probably a lot of different medical conditions that cause you do gain weight in a way that could make you look pregnant, some harmless, some deadly. No matter which, if she is real, she needs help.

I'm in my 30s. I have never been pregnant (and my brother was born when I was just over 3), so I don't know precisely what a baby moving feels like. But I was in physical therapy at some point for a hip/abdomen muscle-related problem, and the physical therapist said at one point, "Did you know that your ascending colon is spasming?" It felt-- well, kind of like a very deep muscle was flipping back and forth. Since she pointed that out, I've realized that on occasion, it feels as if something deep in my abdomen is twitching (usually followed a half hour or so later by some pretty miserable cramping).

Bodies are weird sometimes.

I get those phantom baby gas bubbles too even though I know I'm not pregnant. Glad I'm not the only one! I often wonder if some of it was gas when I was pregnant too and maybe I was misattributing it then!

I'd never thought of that. I remember once, while pregnant, seeing a lump appear on my side and then travel really slowly across the whole width of my belly. At the time, I thought it looked like a little foot although that was probably the overactive imagination of an expectant mother. Funny to think it might have actually been gas and not the baby at all!
