Well, that blows my test-kitchen batch out of the water. I'll take a coconut, since I know not everyone's into that.

I actually kinda wish you were here to test these for me then, because I HATE coconut (and cream cheese, which is also in there) so the frosting just tastes like nasty sun tan lotion to me.

As opposed to good suntan lotion. Sorry, I don't make a ton of sense after 1am.

Coconut is pretty yumly with chocolate - I'll try one too!

Plenty to go around! I made them because my mom likes Mounds bars, so I wanted to try and recreate the flavor combination. I'm going to take them (and the Nutella ones) to her work tomorrow to surprise her and her coworkers; hopefully they'll pass and I can put them on the official flavor menu. :)

Coconut is such a love it or hate it thing. I will happily do my part to keep it away from those who do not like it. :P

I can do toasted coconut in moderation, like on 7 Layer Bars, but even then I try to pick most of it off.

Nutella though? Tried it for the first time last week and I'm still looking for more things to put it on.

I like to make hazelnut shortbread cookies and use them for cookie sandwiches with Nutella filling. Soooooo yummy.

**ETA: Have you ever had Biscoff spread? It's my second favorite thing in a jar.

Some people call it Speculoos spread. It's basically ground up cookies! Kind of like gingersnaps. So, creamy delicious cookie stuff that you can eat on a spoon. Or use in cupcakes, or all sorts of fun stuff.

You guys are going to make me gain back all the weight I lost. I don't think I care...

I've been doing the Nutella + graham crackers (chocolate covered graham crackers are one of my favoritest things ever) but now I need to try the animal crackers. Good thing I have some in the kitchen!

Nutella, cream cheese and whipped cream, beaten together then chilled. 5 minute cheesecake.

Best. Thing. Ever.

Move up to Canada and you can take my exercise classes*. Baked goods in exchange for exercise?

*that is if I ever seize the moment and take the damn training like I want to.

I'm badgering my husband for us to move to Canada. I'll move up there if it's the last damn thing I do! Once that happens, yes! I'd love to trade baked goods for exercise classes, as long as it's not yoga!

Haha. I like yoga but I'm that person in class when everyone is perfect like this...

I'm like this

There is often cussing under my breath involved when the thud happens.

I'm more of a Pilates person myself. I'm looking at teaching dance/step sort of classes.

If you move up here, you can join the FJ Canadian commune! :flags-canada: :romance-grouphug:

Oh, you sound like me then! I can't balance to save my life.

I'd love to join the commune, but I've already promised myself to emmyfair. Maybe I can talk her into us moving there, FJ commune sounds like too much fun to miss out on. :)

We'll find a place, buy some land and set it up. :)

I have a friend who is currently working towards living off the grid and self-sustaining. I'm watching to see how this works out. I don't think I could do it.

And the balance, oh my goodness. Not happening. I can do stuff that requires me to flip over and stand on my shoulders though.

I don't see how you can believe in a free society if you also believe it is okay to vote religious beliefs into law and force them on others. That isn't a free society. A free society is when religion is left to churches and individuals and no one religion is able to force their beliefs beliefs on others by making them a law.

I know this thread has moved on to cupcake porn, but I would just like to point out that this wasn't answered. This wasn't even given a non-answer where she pretends to answer but answer a question that wasn't asked.

I don't think people here have claimed that gay marriage should be legal because of the majority or anything like that. I'm not sure where SWL is getting that we use the majority argument a lot here, the majority is often wrong. I did say that what is taken literally in the Bible changes by what is acceptable in society. And it is. Most people are not going to use the slavery verses to back up slavery anymore, but at one time they did. So as society because more excepting of people who are gay, those verses will be dumped in the "We don't take them literally" pile along with the verses about slavery, polygamy, and beating your kids with rods till they have bruises.

One day, our grandchildren will look back on this time period and wonder why anyone would care about someone's sexual orientation.

Ironically (I believe) SWL was the first to bring up the majority argument with her "65% of Americans hit their kids and you can't stop us!" bullshit.
