Apparently he had a power point today that showed that his father is an "artist" in creating these beautiful properties that aren't valued enough.

M. Cohen in CNN interview said that what's his name bought all those properties and didn't create any of that himself. What's his name must be a fan of E. Musk.

Do here's what I'm wondering.....Is Don jr very thick and actually believes his father is some sort of business genius/artist/savant?  Or is this just the BS he's accustomed to slinging?

Do we have insider viewpoints on what he's really like/thinks?

Mind you, I understand the curiosity, but do we really care?

haha I guess you guys don't.

I find it curious that he is either that dumb or that brainwashed or that arrogant. So I wonder which it is.  I mean I guess if I just wanted to read the news and not think about it further I could just read the news and coming here to comment would be a waste of time. But I enjoy bouncing ideas, interpreting, hearing other people (non-politicians) opinions. That's basically what we do everywhere else on freejinger - discuss these people's motivations, personalities, etc.

I think this asshat has more influence on the country as a whole than Jrod, BroGary, or any of the others we talk about in the main areas. So why not discuss this guy. Thinking about who he really is and what he really wants may provide insight into what asshattery he goes for next and about the people who ally with him.

I'm not sure what to think about Junior.  He grew up with the entire Trump way of seeing the world so he may very well think that they're as wonderful as his dad says.  I do remember a story about Don Jr. while he was in college.  His dad came to pick him up for a ballgame and Junior came out in regular college guy clothes complete with a ball cap.  The story from Junior's friends is that Trump knocked Junior to the floor and told him to go put on a suit.  It sounds about like Trump.  If there are enough of those bad memories lingering about, there may yet be hope for Junior.

I think he knows deep down that most of this is bullshit.  But Junior is trapped.  Look at his and Eric's hair.  Daddy even dictates how they comb their hair.  Donny can't have anyone thinking that there's male pattern baldness in the family so the boys have to comb their hair straight back.  I have to say, there's not enough money in this world to make me stay around as an adult while someone dictates what I say, what I wear, and how I comb my hair.  I guess Jr. and Eric haven't reached that point yet.

He might be aware of the bullshittery of it all, but as you say, he's trapped. Trapped by his upbringing, trapped by his love of money, and like his daddy, his absolute need for his dad to love him. Which will never come, because senior loves only one person in the world and that's his narcissistic self.

Junior is a man who desperately wants his father to love him, to appreciate him, to acknowledge him. So he's doing his very, very best at being just like his dad: a mean, demeaning, arrogant bully-- and just like his dad, failing miserably at what he thinks it will achieve. Nobody likes him (least of all his daddy), nobody looks up to him and he doesn't belong in the circles he would love to be a part of.

And, no, I do not care what he thinks. My opinion of him is based on his actions. A pitiful excuse of a man who needs to chain up an endangered species so he can shoot and kill it with his big compensatory gun in order to feel superior says it all for me. I couldn't have a lower opinion of him if I tried.

Well I guess my viewpoint is that he's not going away. So to have some insight into his motivations may be important. It's very very very likely that ----unless Trump sr. totally crashes and burns and everybody turns against him----we will see Jr attempting to put his fingers in the gov. pie. From what I can tell it seems to have mostly been very lucrative for them.

Even so just on a human level I do wonder has he drunk the kool aid or is it calculated? but ok if nobody wants to snark.

Good grief, the tacky, almost porniness of her outfit is gag worthy. Is she attempting to look like her almost-but-not-quite step-MIL Melania in her heyday?

Here are the rest of the pics from that photo shoot.  They're not as bad as the first one but that's not saying a lot.

Spoiler

Does she wear a wig or are those just hair extensions?  She certainly has a lot more hair than she had when she was younger.

I mean, tbf she has a lot more boob and a lot more botox than when she was younger, too, so the extensions are much more "of course" to me rhan any kind of surprise.

"A warrior for impactful wisdom"

I guess that's as opposed to wisdom that has no impact at all.  And, of all the people on the globe, I wouldn't choose Kimberly to be a warrior for wisdom of any kind.  (Even the use of warrior is odd.  Is wisdom under attack?)

That's... not really how that worked.

What actually happened in that incident is that there were two planes - the AA Airbus and a Tradewinds Aviation flight (which is a 9-seat commuter/charter single-prop plane) - which were cleared to land on parallel runways. AA on Left, Tradewinds on Right. This is very common, especially somewhere super busy like JFK.

How the incident occurred had basically little to do with ATC - the Tradewinds pilot (this plane is certified for single pilot operations) lined up on the Left runway instead of the Right. It was their fault, they lined up on the incorrect localizer. It's possible that ATC MIGHT have been able to see this happening on their radar since it was at a big advanced airport, but the responsibility is on the pilot to line up on the correct runway and there are multiple safety features in most planes to prevent them landing on the incorrect one. JFK is in one of the busiest (if not the busiest) airspaces in the world and they have some of the best ATC staff there is, out of necessity. I haven't listened to the recording yet but unless the Tradewinds pilot read back the landing clearance incorrectly and ATC didn't catch that, it's likely not  really on ATC.

I'll be interested to see when a report comes out on this what the final takeaways are - clearly the Tradewinds pilots screwed up (possibly combined with either a minor system malfunction or a lack of the more sophisticated safety equipment the big planes have) and it's likely all on them, but there might be a recommendation for some additional warning systems in the tower. They will probably also look at Tradewinds' pilot training programs, and maintenance if there was any sort of system malfunction. They'll certainly look at the ATC on the job at the time, and see if there were contributing factors there as well (equipment issues, fatigue, training deficiencies, etc).

Both those planes are supposed to have TCAS (traffic collision and avoidance system) but that is limited at low altitudes which probably contributed to the incident, if they were at higher altitude that system would have triggered to separate them.

Contributing to the problem is a pilot shortage AND an ATC shortage. Encouraging diversity in ATC hiring is a good thing, IMO - people don't go into jobs they don't know exist, so making the job visible as an option to people in diverse communities can only help IMO.

They're so full of shit, I suspect they've experienced impacted bowels, as well.

Especially contrasted with Santa, who looks so nice and natural - he even has a real beard. I bet his outfit is much more comfortable - loose and soft, with nice sensible low-heeled boots. And he gets to sit normally, instead of attempting an arched-back sexy contortion.

I guess it's too late for these women to learn from Santa.
