If you look closely at the video he doesn’t even hold the door open for her, his wife, who gave birth 3 weeks ago, who is there at court to support him despite his disgusting horrifying charges, where it looks like (from her walk) that it’s probably uncomfortable to be sitting for hours, who is probably hoping she’s not leaking through various places or her boobs don’t explode —- and he’s not showing her the least bit of common courtesy. She is utterly dick whipped. Vile. Those poor kids.

I totally agree. I can see her visiting daily. Nothing, not even if there were photos of him doing what he is accused of watching, would change her mind.

Even though they are wearing masks this time, we know they are still smirking. 

Really passes me off that he can't even appear to be polite. Letting her go ahead of him through a door and his hand on her back are just plain polite things to do. I know,  I know. Expecting way too much. For some reason those simple things are so danged wrong.

Can she still believe he won't go to jail? Still believe he's innocent? I hope that when the jury, not the courtroom, are shown the videos, their reactions will maybe register with Anna that this is awful stuff.

I simply do not understand all this crap. Anna standing by. Jim Bob missing. Motion after motion denied.

I think he’s always treated her pretty horribly. He’s always treated her as less than him. It’s sad that she accepts it. If she hadn’t been raised to be a fundie doormat, maybe things would be different.

I figure he is a little bit of both. He knew how to market (pimp) his children for money while at the same time he is so arrogant he thinks he and his family (well only himself and Josh) are untouchable

I don’t think she knows any different. It is her role to keep sweet no matter what he does to her.

ETA; Her not knowing any different still does not give her a pass for not protecting her kids.

Josh and Anna holding hands, supporting him, could very well be at the direction of and orchestrated by Josh's legal team.  It's a way to influence perceptions of Josh prior to the trial.  Like, "Yes, it's a terrible crime, but he's a family man whose wife still loves him!"

I've been casually following the Elizabeth Holmes trial. Each day as she walks up to the courthouse, she's ALWAYS accompanied by her mother, her partner, or both.  They are ALWAYS holding hands, clearly supporting her.  This is staged, of course, but it is meant to specifically influence the public's perception of her, and perhaps any juror who happens to get a glimpse of it.

Okay so I read this as being different from the earlier prosecution notification that if Josh tried to paint himself as not interested in children the prosecution would call his two youngest (known) victims.  Am I right?

It sounds as if now the prosecution is proposing to make the molestation a part of their case (that is, will they bring it up to establish Josh’s proclivities) regardless of whether or not Josh claims that he has never had any sexual interest in children.  

In either case, this time the potential witnesses would not be the victims, which is good.  

I am wondering if the subpoena to Jim Bob will be the catalyst for Josh taking a plea.  I can’t  imagine that JB wants to have to testify, and it’s not like he can lie under oath when there is so much other evidence of what really happened.

From what I gather from Emily Baker's latest Josh Duggar Youtube video she basically said that if the defence (& Josh) try to claim that it wasn't him but someone else who is responsible for the charges etc, then it opens the door for the prosecution to bring up the molestation allegations in the police report to point to motive etc as to why they think its Josh and not any others who might work at the car lot. If you look at one of the defence's motions (which they won today), the defence has opened that door. 

The prosecution is saying that Josh Duggar confessed that he assaulted a girl in 2003 to the two witnesses it has named (Jim Bob Duggar and Bobye Holt). Jim Bob has not been served, i.e. they cannot locate him currently, but Bobye Holt (wife of senator Jim Holt) has been successfully subpoenaed. The prosecution have not detailed any more witnesses at this point regarded the motion regarding the molestations.

Thank you for posting this article. I work in child support and have seen thousands of names. Yes, there are some weird ones like matching or near matching first and last name or girls with variations of their dad's name and some fancy items like coach, porche or mignon but vast majority of names are pretty normal (even with weird spellings).

Not shocked, he has been raised that women are property of their dad and then of the husband. He doesn't have to treat her like a partner or with respect because he was raised that women are to do everything the husband asks of her. Even his own mom and her "making a sandwich" story.

It isn't shocking to me. The fundies, especially the tv fundies, believe they are better than everyone in morality and everyone fawns over them. And the people that call out their double standard and BS they just claim they are hateful non-Christians or fake Christians.

They have to get Boob to court first. He was in Big Sandy this past weekend at a father/son event, and some Duggars are at Silver Dollar City today. No wonder they can't serve him!

Yeah I was about to say that. It protects against self-incrimination (i.e. Jim Bob incriminating himself), he cannot plead it to avoid incriminating Josh. Hence why he's made himself impossible to find.
