I honestly wonder how long it will take for a warrant(s) to be served after he leaves office.  As in days or maybe even hours.   Or possibly even at 12:01 PM?

May depend on where he is at 12:01 PM.  If he believes that warrants are imminent I could see him choosing to be someplace they aren't.

I was quite young when George W was in office but I was old enough to remember people really not liking him because he was dumb and many times throughout trump I've though abiut how bad idea president he must be if people wanted another dumb president back

Apparently, some brilliant person figured out how to appease and distract Trump and ease him out of town. 

This is via twitter, but apparently he'll helicopter to Joint Base Andrews. Before boarding a plane to Mar a Largo,  preliminary plans include a red carpet, a military band, 21-gun salute and presumably other ego soothing activities.

I was about to ask what the purpose of all that shiny new equipment and all that military spending was, if endless wars would be stopped. 

Then I realized there are more troops protecting DC  than Afghanistan.    And state capitals. 

 

Very good of him to give the military the funding to protect people from his own insurrection.
