The Queen's Gambit on Netflix

This TV show (limited, so no second season, TG) was SO good. It's the story of a girl, orphaned, who learns chess, but also battles addiction. The chess parts could be any sport or game, really, it's not necessary to understand the game at all to watch the show. And I'm so glad it's limited, so there won't be more to ruin it. Just a nice, long, self-contained story. Very bingable.

I liked this, but thought it could have been edited more: I got bored during any of the self-reflective parts where she's dancing/drinking/feeling sorry for herself.  (Which, considering her trauma, she had a right to; I just found those scenes too long).
