Lina on Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur was a little bit different this year in that it fell on Shabbat, so we observed both the laws pertaining to Shabbat as well as those pertaining to the holiday (no leather is to be worn, cohabitation is prohibited, no food or water allowed).

Oh, look, Lina explains things incorrectly yet again.

Yom Kippur is a Sabbath no matter what day of the week it is. Also, the prohibition against wearing leather applies only to shoes.

It's the Shabbat of Shabbats, in fact. And in some cases, you can't observe the laws of Shabbat and the laws of Yom Tov, since they contradict each other (there's some stuff you can do on a holiday that you can't do on Shabbat). Also, no Avinu Malkeinu, which was kind of weird, I'm so used to hearing it on Yom Kippur.
