I'm a big fan of Clinique's Chubby Sticks. I know they are listed as lip balms, but I definitely get more of a lipstick feel when I wear them than any balm I've used.

If you love lipstick and hate it when it doesn't stay on, go get Urban Decay's Vice lipstick. 

It is my new favorite cosmetic thing.

I used to think they were too much for me too but their Vice line alone has over 100 colors so there pretty much is something for everyone..

As a broke college student, I cannot afford fancy stuff. I use LA Girl liquid lipstick for excellent staying power. Idk if it'll stay on during instrument playing though.

Those ones everyone sells on Facebook?  Senegence?  They actually do last forever and do not rub off.
