Binders full of women.

Don't forget the tax break for the "middle class" where your savings account interest doesn't get taxed. If you're making enough on your bank account interest for that to make much of a difference, you're not part of the middle class that I am acquainted with.

The overarching impression that I got was that this guy is so out of touch it's unreal.

Isn't that hysterical? My savings account makes like eight bucks a year.

Yeah, there are absolutely no women in the state of Massachussetts who would want or have tabs on trying to get a job in the Governor's Office, and poor Mitt had to go to the Crochet Club and beg for candidates. If he's elected I'm not going to cook my own or anybody else's dinner for his entire term in office on the fucking principle of the matter.

I'd go for it, but I live in singletude, and I'd friggin' starve

Well lets be fair-- Mitt Romney thinks the middle class is anyone making $250,000 a year. If I was making $250,000 I might have a savings account.

Not only was the "whole binders full of women" a weird phrase it wasn't even true. "And I — and I went to my staff, and I said, 'How come all the people for these jobs are — are all men.' They said, 'Well, these are the people that have the qualifications.'†Because apparently it is still 1955 in Massachusetts.

"And — and so we — we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet." Apparently they had to scour the countryside far and wide looking for women-- any women.

"I went to a number of women’s groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks,' and they brought us whole binders full of women." Yeah except that turns out to be not exactly true. The dossier had already been compiled by the Massachusetts Woman's Political Caucus before Mitt had even won the election.http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/election-2012/wp/2012/10/17/massgap-responds-to-mitt-romney-on-women-appointees/

At any rate I hated that phrase (binders full of women.) He put women in their place by not saying "lots of great resumes" or 'many terrific women with impressive backgrounds" no they were just interchangeable females of no particular interest or outstanding quality-- obviously the binders were what stuck in his head, not the individuals.

I liked this quote, from the facebook page:

My idea for closing the gender gap: MANDATE that men are only allowed to make .77 on every dollar a woman makes. Make it illegal for men to get vasectomies and outlaw the sale of condoms. Require all unmarried men with children to raise them with less then 50% getting any assistance from the mother...

Let's see how long it takes for men to decide we all should be treated equal when it's THEIR ass on the line.

You guys are so silly! Of coure he has binders full of women.... he is a mormon.

And I weep for this country. Mitty made it clear how he thinks of women last night. Anyone with a uterus or who loves someone with a uterus should be ashamed to vote for him.

Yup.

Binders full of women sounds like hes talking about his secret porn stash.

I immediately thought of serial killer trophies.

Either way: not a good image!
