(Bunnings is a hardware store that has FINALLY gone to click and collect only, Dan Murphy’s is a liquor store)

Apparently about 4-5% of Canberrans went to Bunnings in one day sometime between 12th - 25th August... (there were 19000 checkins on one of the days).  Because of this the ACT government also made Bunnings and Officeworks go click and collect/delivery.

Actually, the ivermectin will only be sold after the customer shows a photo of the horse and spends over ten minutes telling the seller more than he or she ever wanted to know about the horse, including how many times said horse tried to kill its beloved owner.

I just saw that myself.  One of my classmates owns some so she’d probably have some on her phone.

I just asked my dad and he said he used it on cows and steers in the past for parasites and deworming.

Ivermectin is the main ingredient in heartworm preventative for dogs, as well. It is "preventative" in the sense that it kills the worms at a stage before they mature, given once a month. It's a poison, really.

My dogs took it in Heartgard, a flavored treat which they adored. I was surprised I hadn't seen memes about that (most of the idiots buying it must be getting the liquid meant for livestock, I guess, so they can overdose), so I made one!

Plans to reopen schools in Oct/Nov if we reach 70% vax in adults. Delta is the active strain here. Every parent I know is worried about this plan.

Oh it'll be fine! Businesses can reopen, and that's really the most important thing, right? And don't think about taking leave to look after your kids, full productivity steam ahead! /s
