When I was younger, my (extremely judgmental and appearance-obsessed) grandmother used that "Why buy the cow?" line on me. My response was, "Why buy the entire pig when all I want is some sausage?" She gave up on me after that.

The comparisons of sexually-active young women to a used piece of chewing gum, or to a perfect, shiny apple that's already had a bite taken out of it, make me want to smack the people who use them.

I bet most fundies marry for the sex.

I'm willing to bet quite a few of them aren't even virgins on their wedding night. With all of those conferences they attend, there is bound be some hooking up going on. Hey it always happens at youth & church camps. Or maybe my mind is in the gutter today...LOL!
