I've always felt that these patriarchal cultures, whether fundy Christian or Muslim or whatever, that demand coverage of women to protect their precious men are bas-ackwards.

They control their women because they can't or won't control their men.

Why should I have to wear a sack because your man is a raging horn dog who (they say) will want to rape me if he sees my knee cap?

My husband & I are going south this week and will be on a beach. Possibly a topless beach. I am 100% certain that even if he looks at a scantily clad woman, he will not even make her feel uncomfortable, let alone sexually assault her. And he's a god-less atheist. Go fig.
