I remember reading in Lady's Home Journal in the "Can Is Marriage Be Saved" section about a couple who hadn't consummated their marriage after several years due to that condition. They would literally do everything else but have vaginal intercourse, but as you would expect it was a major strain in the marriage. Apparently the wife came from a conservative or fundie lite background where the mother had said things that caused her to be terrified about vaginal sex. According to the story the woman was able to finally consummate the relationship after a year of therapy and using dialog ion devices. I had to give the husband props for standing by his wife and being so patient!
