Interestingly my republican boss, who thinks Biden "lies too much", told me unprompted the other day that he thinks DeSantis clearly doesn't care about people, and just wants power no matter the cost. I'd have thought boss would support him because he's less controversial than Trump, but he can clearly see how DeSantis stomps on people and does things that are terrible for his state simply for publicity reasons.

Continually calling him the governor makes it seem like she barely knows him. He is just some guy who wanders in messing up the bedtime routine and causing her more problems when she just wants the kids to go to bed so she can have a few minutes of peace. If this was his attempt to appear relatable, it isn’t working.
