Trump 54: A Grand Jury Has Been Called For The Former Guy!

From Raw Story about Trump's commentary gig:

Quote

"Former president Donald Trump has signed a contract to provide commentary on a 'gamecast' of Saturday's boxing event headlined by Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort, Triller told ESPN. His son, Donald Trump Jr., will join him at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida," ESPN reported Tuesday.

ESPN reports the Trumps will offer their views on boxing during the entire four-fight telecast.

A tweet embedded in the article says the Trumps are going to be part of an "alternate commentary feed." I predict that these two clowns will be too busy airing their grievances and spreading conspiracy theories to keep up with what's happening in the ring.

Will they be presenting "alternative facts"??

Oh my, if his nannies let him see this, they'll need to add a bunch of Xanax to his Diet Coke:

Maybe he will decide he can get all the adoration money he needs that way and the idea of any further politics will just fade away until he denies he ever suggested otherwise.

BTW, the building he's referring to is 1 Liberty.  It was where my husband worked on 9/11.  The creaks and swaying he mentioned happened and was heavily covered on the TV news.  We watched it intently and never saw Trump or heard mention of him.  In addition, I'm sure if he was really that close he was in the way.  At that point it was a rescue operation and no member of the public would have been allowed to just walk up.

Huh. Wasn't Trump all about winning and one of his most derogatory terms was calling someone a loser? Maybe someone should tell him Robert E. Lee literally was a loser, as he fought for the side that actually lost.

Although, that does fit in rather well with the so-called 'deal' he made with the Taliban, essentially capitulating and handing over Afghanistan to them. Lee had experience with surrendering after all...

I don't speak the languages spoken in Afghanistan, but I don't believe they communicate in primitive grunts. Of course, I hope I'm not a racist asshole like TFG:

I think Trump is pandering to his right-wing nut jobs in commenting about the Robert E. Lee statue being taken down, and may also be thinking about Mt. Rushmore.  Who's building statues of him and how long would they remain undefaced and present?

What a damn toddler.  Sorry, Dolt 45.  Joe Biden has much more important things to do, like clean up your messes.

Please Biden would knock him out with the first punch. Although that's not saying much Estelle Getty could have knocked him out. Assuming Trump was brave enough to even get in the ring. You know he'd come up with an excuse not to show up.

I assumed Trump would never get in the ring because he would get hopelessly tangled in the ropes. He can't even navigate a glass of water or a ramp.

Why wasn't Trump at any of the memorials today? All the other living former presidents made an appearance, except for Carter, who is 96 and a recent cancer survivor (so he gets a pass).

He was probably prepping for his big boxing commentator gig.

Personally I’m glad he didn’t show up. He would have made it all about himself. Also, he doesn’t want to be around the other former presidents. And Melania has moved back to Florida with Barron, so he would have been the odd man out, even more than usual.

Trump Skips Ground Zero, Criticizes Afghanistan Withdrawal at NYC Precinct Visit

Quote

Former President Donald Trump commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks by visiting a fire station and police precinct in New York, where he criticized his successor for the way he pulled out of Afghanistan last month.

Trump skipped joining President Joe Biden and other past presidents at official 9/11 memorial ceremonies Saturday at the World Trade Center and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Instead, he traveled several blocks from his Trump Tower building in Manhattan to the 17th police precinct and the neighboring fire station. Speaking to officers, Trump criticized the withdrawal from Afghanistan and expressed surprise about why it hadn’t come up in other 9/11 memorial speeches. “It was gross incompetence,” he said of the exit.

Trump was asked by the officers whether he plans to launch a comeback run for the White House in 2024 -- or for mayor of New York. He said it was an easy decision that would make them happy.

The U.S. marked 20 years since the terror attacks of 9/11 at ceremonies across the country.

“If I catch COVID it’s because of you,” Trump said as he posed for photos with police officers.

Trump planned to end the day in Florida, where he is providing commentary on a boxing match.
