There's old Mike walking into a room with three or four people while the guy who tried to have him hanged gets a cheering mob.  I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a spineless idiot.  He'd have done better if he came out swinging and talked about Trump being a crook.  The MAGA crowd would have hated him but he could have gotten a lot of the old line conservatives.  Now he'll just be an embarrassing footnote in the history books.

Good thing he's a coward. He could appeal to a lot of people. I think if he came out and nicely talked about how he disagreed with how the White house was run under Trump and calmly talked about how disappointed he was in how things turned out etc etc. I think a lot of people would fall in line with the traditional, reliable ol' republican white guy. But geez, he's just such pansy.
