A totally accurate and in no way sarcastic Duggar Cheat Sheet

Welcome one and all to the Official VelociRapture Cheat Sheet for the extended Duggar family. These are very basic summaries. I don't watch the shows, so I wrote these using a combination of FJ, social media, and google. If you see something incorrect or there's something missing then please comment below (once all the summaries are up.) All I ask is that you cite legitimate sources - there's a ton of false information and rumors about the Duggars. I'd like to keep the summaries as factual as possible. That said, if you know that one of the kids loves pizza and hates salad you don't need to cite that.

I'll try to keep up with the comments and update as needed. Summaries start with the parents and then go by birth order of the children. Some of the kids are included in the same summaries because I don't know much about them and it was easier. Click on each spoiler to view.

Parents of 19 children, live in Tonitown Arkansas, and have been married since July 21, 1984. Jim Bob was born July 18, 1965 (54) and Michelle was born September 13, 1966 (52.) They met in the early 1980s when JimBob accompanied a fellow Church goer to a followup meeting with Michelle, who had recently experienced a religious conversion. At the time, Jim Bob was attending Shiloh Christian School (associated with First Baptist Church, which was later renamed Cross Church - the same Church Jill was married.) For their first date, Jim Bob took Michelle to the Shiloh Junior-Senior banquet. 

They married at First Baptist Church (on Johnson Road) when Michelle was 17 and Jim Bob was 19. Neither attended college, but together they ran a used car business, as well as towing and real estate businesses. I believe they both have real estate licenses. The Duggars have multiple real estate properties, some of which generate rental income. The Duggars' relationship with reality television began in 2004 with a documentary style special, 14 Children and Pregnant Again! This was later followed by specials in 2006 and 2007. Their show first began in the fall of 2008 as 17 Kids and Counting. The final episode aired May 19, 2015 and the show was cancelled during the summer of 2015. 

Jim Bob has one older sister, Deanna, and one niece, Amy King. His parents, Jimmy Lee and Mary, both appeared on their show. In one of the god awful books the family wrote (I believe it was the book the eldest daughters "wrote" together), they accused Jimmy Lee of being an alcoholic and Jim Bob has apparently been less than kind when speaking of his father. I have no clue whether his views on his father are fair or not. Jimmy Lee died in February 2009. Mary moved in with her son's family at some point to help out. She had her own bedroom near the laundry room. She appears to enjoy a close relationship with her daughter and Amy. The Duggars recently moved the cabin that Jimmy Lee and Mary lived in into their property and said Mary would be living there.

Michelle's parents, Garrett and Ethel Ruark, are both deceased. It appears that they may have moved out of Arkansas when Michelle was a teenager, which may have been part of the reason she married so young. She has six older siblings - Pamela, Kathie, Evelyn, Carolyn, Freda, and Garrett Jr. - and multiple nieces and nephews. She and Jim Bob recently gained guardianship of Michelle's great-nephew Tyler Hutchins (Carolyn's grandson.) His mother, Rachel, is apparently unable to care for him and seems to have willingly agreed to the arrangement after her mother's health prevented her from continuing to care for Tyler.

Jim Bob served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 until 2002. He ran for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, but lost to incumbent Tim Hutchinson in 2002. I believe it was around this time that they first came to the attention of TLC.

Michelle has had seventeen live births, including two sets of twins. She has also experienced two pregnancy losses. The first occurred between the births of Josh in March 1988 and her first set of twins, Jana and John, in January 1990. The Duggars were using birth control pills to prevent another pregnancy when Michelle learned she was pregnant and subsequently miscarried. A Christian Doctor they saw at the time told them the pill caused the miscarriage, which caused them to swear off any form of contraception. They named the lost baby Caleb, despite not knowing the sex. Their second loss occurred in early December 2011. The Duggars were told during an ultrasound a few days prior that their child, a girl, had died in utero and Michelle ultimately miscarried. They named the baby Jubilee Shalom and held a memorial service for her. 

The Duggars have previously denied that they are Quiverful and they claimed to no longer follow Gothard after his fall from grace. Neither should be believed. They purposely have as many children as possible and they're still involved with IBLP. Michelle and Jim Bob are regular speakers at Big Sandy (a major IBLP family conference.)

I'm not sure where they lived when they first married or started popping out babies. I do know they ended up living in a three bed and two bath home on Johnson Road for ten years (so 1995/6 - 2006.) When they moved out, that house was demolished to make room for Cross Church's expansion. Their current house is 7,000 square feet. Construction began in 2000 and was completed in 2006 after Discovery Networks found local construction workers to donate time and skills. There are two dorm style bedrooms for the children - the one for the daughters is located past their parents' room and the sons' room is located on the complete opposite end of the house, across the skywalk. The parents claim the kids like the setup, but a lot of us are skeptical. Last we knew, all the unmarried children were still living in the dorms - meaning 27 year old Jana is still sharing a room with Hannie, Jenni, Jordyn, and Josie. 

The Duggars are friendly with the Bates clan of Tennessee (of United Bates of America and Bringing Up Bates fame.) A few of the children in both families are fairly good friends - namely John and Zach, Jana and Michael, and Joy and Carlin. The Duggars helped complete the addition on the Bateses home and John installed a camera system inside their home so Gil and Kelly could spy on their children. The Duggars apparently also have a camera system inside their home as well. The Bateses appeared on the Duggars show several times and Erin Bates Paine's wedding was even featured in an episode. Appearances have severely tapered off since the Bateses landed their own show with a different network, though Jana appeared at Michael Bates Keilen's wedding and Carlin appeared at Joy's wedding (both were Bridesmaids.)

The Duggars "homeschool" their children. I put that in parentheses because I'm pretty sure they don't actually do much teaching and they give actual homeschooling families a bad reputation. Jessa was in charge of school time before she married and Tabitha Paine took over after that. Its possible that Jana's friend, Laura, has taken over now that Tabitha is married to a rapist. It really seems like the big responsibility with schooling was using the online program to check grades and make sure everyone was doing their work. Pretty sure they use those worthless Wisdom Booklets as well. On one of the early specials, Michelle was briefly shown talking to her school aged children about bankruptcy. Because six year old Joy clearly needed to know that. Some of the elder children completed courses through College Plus. Joseph is the only child who attended any type of college. He went to Crown College in Tennessee, where several Bates children have gone. No clue if he actually finished the certificate program he was working on or not.

They have been affiliated with IBLP and ATI for a long time. Several family members have spoken at various ATI or IBLP events. I don't believe all the children attended Alert and Journey to the Heart. I do know that Joseph, Josiah, and Jer attended Alert in their late teens and that the four eldest daughters (Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger) all attended JTTH at some point as well. Jana and Jill appear to have attended at least two years and Jana have been a leader at some point.

Jim Bob and Michelle are lazy fucks who didn't want to parent, so they utilized the buddy system. The basic idea was that they'd pair an elder child off with a younger child (apparently starting when Joy was handed off to Jill.) The elder child was responsible for helping to care for the younger. At one point, they apparently had their sons as buddies. That ended though, likely due to Josh Duggar (is the world's biggest asshole) molesting several younger sisters - this will be covered in the summary about Josh. I don't know the pairings well, but I find the following on an old thread (shout out to @HarleyQuinn who posted the comment):

Jessa - Jer, Justin, Jordyn

Michelle would hand off each baby when they were around six months old, which is about the time each were weaned. The sisters, known collectively as Sister Moms or the J'Slaves on FJ, were responsible for pretty much everything related to their buddies. Some of them developed extremely close bonds - Jill's group still appears close and I believe that Jordyn was visibly upset at Jessa's wedding because her mom was leaving home.

These assholes like to claim that they spend more time with their kids than normal families do because they're all home all the time. That's bullshit. Each kid gets special time with their parents on their birthday and I think the kids have to schedule private little chats with their parents as well. That might be the Bateses though - they're equally fucked up in their own unique way.

Michelle won the Young Mother of the Year Award in Arkansas in 2004. Which was ridiculous before because she never did much parenting. But it's especially ridiculous now since, you know, her daughters had been sexually abused by their brother only one or two years prior. It's also disgusting considering she was an outspoken supporter of the Pearl method of blanket training young children - which basically meant hitting the curiosity out of your infant and toddler. 

The Duggars don't date like the rest of us dirty heathens. Because Jesus. They follow a courtship model instead. Any potential suitor is screened and approved by Jim Bob, at least for the daughters. All dates are chaperoned and physical interaction is very limited. Most of the couples only side hugged prior to engagement.

Michelle brought a lot of negative attention to the family when a robocall she recorded in August 2014 was released. In it, she urged voters to vote against an anti-discrimination ordinance that would have ensured equal rights for LGBTQ folk. She alleged the ordinance would allow male child molesters to access female bathrooms by claiming to be women - basically saying that Transgender people are child predators. Which is fucking hysterical considering she birthed and raised someone who was actually molested children when he was a teenager. By her flawed logic, I assume we can we expect Josh's "I am Jacqueline" Vanity Fair cover any day now. It's also funny because her robocall clearly pissed off the wrong women - a lesbian couple photographed kissing in front of the TTH shortly after the robocall were allegedly contacted by In Touch and the couple informed them of the molestations. Kharma is real and it's a fucking bitch.

Oh! And have you heard they dress modestly? Because they dress SO FUCKING MODESTLY that everyone needs to know about it. Females are "convicted" to wear skirts and dresses only. Low cut shirts require an undershirt or tank top underneath. They horribly maimed at least two wedding gowns trying to fit their idiotic standards. And we're still not entirely sure if Jill has knees or not. Her's are the only ones out of the elder daughters that haven't been fully seen. They claim that their fashion standards are based in the Bible. I haven't read the entire Bible, but I'm pretty sure that's just bullshit. 

The daughters all keep their hair long and Michelle constantly looks like she has a deranged poodle for hair because that's what Jim Bob likes. The daughters also had a framed photo in their room of their father as a teenager. Because that's not creepy as fuck or anything.

They seriously limit television content and filter their internet. I believe Jana may have access to the passwords. The elder daughters appear to have smart phones, but I believe the sons are limited to shameful flip phones prior to marriage. Because, you know, controlling urges is just so fucking hard. The daughters are also known to say "Nike!" to warn their brother's to avert their eyes because a sinful and immodest Trollop was gallivanting nearby.

The Duggars are well known for political activism. They've been spotted at March for Life events multiple times and have toured D.C. as well. Most of the family even spent the week leading up to Jessa's wedding campaigning for some horrible politician. They usually throw their support behind Mike Huckabee the former Governor of Arkansas and father of Sarah "Fake Media!" Huckabee Sanders, Deputy White House Press Secretary for The Tangerine Toddler. When Huckabee eventually drops out of the Republican Presidential primaries - because no one likes him - they usually support Rick Santorum instead. Santorum (which sounds like a nasty STD) is a former Senator from Pennsylvania and is an ebil Catholic... but he's extremely socially conservative and cares about all the unborn babies being murdered, so I guess the Duggars are cool with him. 

The Duggars have previously endorsed blanket training, the Pearls, and "To Train Up a Child" (TTUAC.) All of which mean they're totes cool with beating kids into submission. They, like the Bateses, have tried scrubbing these endorsements from their website. The internet is forever though and that shit was archived. Fuck you Duggars and Bateses! Oh, and those police reports about Josh molesting young girls? One of the sons mentioned in his interview that his parents hit them with a rod - possibly plumbing line since it hurts like hell and doesn't leave bruises (just short-term welts.) 

Jim Bob and Michelle took their unmarried children, Tyler, and Lauren Swanson on a trip to Australia in January 2018. Apparently they were there attending IBLP events. An observant FJer noticed that Lauren was signing books with Josiah at one event. Shortly after the trip the Duggars announced that Josiah was courting Lauren. 

The Duggars announced the sudden death of Jim Bob’s mother, Mary Leona Lester Duggar, in early June 2019. Her cause of death was accidental drowning and appears to have been a difficult loss for many members of the family, especially her two children.

Storylines have mainly included their obsession with having all TEH BABIES!!!! There was also an episode in 2009 where they had a wedding vow renewal at Cross Church and Michelle wore a seriously modest wedding dress for it. There are also several episodes where Jim Bob tries competing with his young sons and fails, because he just sucks at life so badly.

Josh and Anna are the parents of 5 children, live in Arkansas, and have been married since September 26, 2008. Josh was born March 3, 1988 (31) and Anna was born June 23, 1988 (31.) They first met at an ATI Conference in 2006. I believe Josh asked her to court in late 2007 or very early 2008. Anyways, they got engaged on Anna's 20th birthday. Josh had apparently planned an outdoor proposal, but it got rained out because God hates child molesters. So he awkwardly asked her in the middle of her birthday dinner with her parents. After getting engaged they were finally allowed to hold hands. They were quite... enthusiastic. They're the reason "handsex" became a commonly used word on FJ.

Their children are Mackynzie Renee (October 2009), Michael James (June 2011), Marcus Anthony (June 2013), Meredith Grace (July 2015), and Mason Garrett (September 2017.) They are currently expecting their sixth child, a girl, in November 2019. Anna apparently miscarried once between Mackynzie and Michael. The first three children were born on the family show prior to its cancellation. Josh fell asleep while Anna was laboring in the tub  with their first child and Michael, their second child, wound up being born on the toilet accidentally. Meredith, their fourth child, had her SEX revealed at a party thrown by family friend Sierra. There were painted flamingoes all over the front lawn. It was weird. They also have had a dog, Lily, since the spring of 2016. #freelily

Anna says she first noticed Josh during the Duggars' tv special 14 Children and Pregnant Again! She claimed to be very excited to see a family like her's that prioritized guarding your heart for the one God chose for you. Too bad God chose a child molesting asshole for her. 

Anna comes from a poor family. She grew up in Florida and is the daughter of Michael and Lillie Suzette Keller (known here as Ma and Pa Keller.) She has four older siblings - Esther, Rebekah, Daniel, and Priscilla - and three younger - Susanna "Suze", Nathan, and David. Esther is married to John Shrader. I don't know much about them other than they have a ridiculous number of kids and he enjoys dragging his family all over Africa because missionaries. Rebekah has, I believe, two daughters and is either divorced or getting divorced. She and her ex apparently left Fundiedom, but remain conservative Christians. Daniel hates Josh and publicly stated he wanted him out of the family after the Ashley Madison scandals. Priscilla is married to David Waller (aka Pecan Thief) and has three children. Suze has one daughter out of wedlock (where's my fainting couch?!) and I believe she's currently in a relationship. The other two still live with Ma and Pa and still wear matching outfits sometimes. 

Josh, who clearly doesn't deserve Anna, earned his GED at age 16. Two years after he molested five innocent girls and the same year that I believe the Duggars had their first specials.

The couple courted rather than date. There is considerable debated on FJ as to whether Josh truly wanted to marry Anna or if he just wanted to get his jollies off legally or if his father pressured him some how. Regardless, they saved their first kiss for marriage. Which would be super impressive if he hadn't molested five girls and likely been watched like a hawk during their group dates. It also would have been fantastic if he hadn't made an incest joke during a movie date he had with Anna that was chaperoned by twins Jana and John. From my recollection, neither looked amused and they both looked a bit grossed out by Josh. Which is normal based off how I feel when I see or hear him.

During their courtship there was much matching of outfits and Anna made a pillow featuring a photo of the pair on it. So, it was about as awkward as you'd expect. Josh sang the most cringeworthy loyalty song to Anna at their wedding. So, in addition to breaking his promise of loyalty he also committed a heinous crime against music. His father also gave him a super awkward and cringeworthy sex talk before the wedding - it included legos and pieces fitting together.

Josh is a massive attention whore. At his sister and victim Jill's wedding, he insisted on dipping Anna for a kiss during the recessional... even though it likely messed things up a bit and he wasn't in the wedding. He also had no issues presenting himself as The Chosen One when he knew damn well that he and his family had massive skeletons badly concealed in a partly opened closet.

Josh worked at a used car business in the early years of their marriage. I believe Anna would come by and help him during the day too. At some point he got more involved with politics. He apparently worked part-time in 2007 as a political consultant under the business name Strategic Political Services. In 2008 he worked on the presidential primary campaign for Mike Huckabee and in 2012 he joined the presidential primary campaign tour for Rick Santorum. He was even spoke at Santorum's rallies. I take great joy in the fact that so many prominent conservative Republicans have been photographed with Josh.

In June 2013, Josh was hired as Executive Director of FRC Action, a lobbying organization and political action group sponsored by Family Research Council. I believe FRC was labeled a hate group by the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center), which sounds about right when you're discussing anything related to the Duggars. Josh used his new position to try and promote conservative values, appeal to younger citizens, and troll discreetly for affairs online. He has been referred to as an anti-LGBTQ activist by GLADD.  

So, what you're all actually interested in are the scandals. Here's what we know about the molestations from the police reports:

Josh assaulted two of his sisters and one babysitter as they slept. This occurred several times in early to mid 2002. Josh had confessed to his father in July 2002 and was supposedly punished. That didn't help though because he assaulted two more of his sisters by March 2003. This time was more serious because one victim (Joy) was only five. Jim Bob spoke to Church elders about the situation and Josh was sent off to do construction work in Little Rock for, I believe, IBLP. He was there from late March 2003 until July 2003. After he returned they spoke with a State Trooper friend, Inv. Hutchens, who told Josh he was a naughty boy who shouldn't touch the girls again. Hutchens was later convicted for possession of child porn. You stay classy Arkansas (but seriously - I’m sorry the people there have to deal with this bullshit.)

All this came to police attention in late 2006. The Duggars were set to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show in Chicago. Apparently, a family friend (who I believe was male if I remember right) wrote everything down and hid it in a book. It was forgotten about and the book was loaned to someone else. This person apparently contacted the Oprah Show and called a police hotline to inform them and the good people at Oprah then called the police in Arkansas. 

The scandal first broke when In Touch magazine published an initial story alleging that Jim Bob had informed police that Josh had molested five girls between 2002 and 2003 (when Fuckface was 14 and 15.) They had previously obtained redacted police reports via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA.) The day the article was published was the same day that Judge Stacey Zimmerman ordered the original police reports be destroyed and public record expunged. This was likely done at the request of Joy Duggar, the only victim still a minor in May of 2015. 

The reports were redacted, but unfortunately it was very difficult to protect the identities of some of the victims - it was well known that four of the victims were related to Josh. No amount of redacting could have really hid hat fact since the reports listed all the siblings the victims had at the time of the interviews - the names had been redacted, but the sheer amount of redacting kind of made it obvious.

Josh announced he was leaving his position at FRC in May 2015. It's unknown whether he made that decision on his own or if he were persuaded to leave by his bosses. Either way, his DC adventures were over and he returned to Arkansas in disgrace. Soon after, he and Anna sold the home they had previously purchased - FJers found evidence that suggested the home had been transferred into a trust or something. It appears the move was made in order to protect their assets because ANOTHER scandal was brewing!!!

Oh Josh. He was the gift that kept giving. It wasn't enough that he had a cushy job or a beautiful family or the adoration of a brainwashed wife who was clearly out of his league. No, no. Like the Little Mermaid, he wanted more. And by more, I mean sex with a non-Fundie woman. I don't know if he ever really succeeded, but the whole world found out he tried when he admitted as much on August 20, 2015. Sure, he only admitted it after Ashley Madison servers were hacked and patrons' information was posted online. But still. It was that pesky Satan building a fortress in his heart and was in no way actually Josh’s fault! Ignore the $986.76 charge to his credit card for his Ashley Madison account! 

His subscription began February 2013 and was cancelled in May 2015 shortly after the molestation coverup was revealed. So, basically, he was trolling for sweet non-marital fellowship while his lovely wife was pregnant with two of his children. Josh either voluntarily checked in or was persuaded to check in to rehab by his family. He arrived at Reformers Unanimous on August 25, 2015 - this is known as his time at Prayhab on FJ. I believe he remained there for six months - his youngest daughter, Meredith, was a month old when he left and seven months when he returned.

In November 2015, adult film actresses Danica Dillon filed a lawsuit against Josh claiming he had inflicted physical and emotional injuries during consensual sex at a Philadelphia strip club early in 2015. She claimed it happened after providing around $600 of lap dances to Josh. She chose to dismiss the lawsuit in early 2016 and doesn't seem to have any intention to refile.  Josh is also facing a lawsuit from a California DJ, whose picture Fuckface used as his Ashley Madison profile picture. That lawsuit is ongoing.

Finally, Josh has filed legal action against In Touch magazine, the Springdale police, and Washington county police - because he's a speshul snowflake who should be exempt from FOIA. Or something. Regardless, he's a fuckity fuck fuck who deserves every ounce of public derision he receives.

Anna has remained by Josh’s side throughout everything and likely will always remain at his side. I can only hope God chooses to close her womb to further blessings after M5 arrives because no kid deserves to be born into this mess.

Storylines have included their entire relationship, their wedding, the births of their kids, and a memorable one where Josh had to eat healthy and exercise to make it appear he was trying to be healthier.

Jana Marie Duggar:

Jana is the second child and first daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born January 12, 1990 (29.)

Despite the intense interest in Jana, not much is really known about her. We know that she seems to be a hard worker, that she has volunteered with the fire department in the past (with Jill), that she served as a Journey to the Heart (JTTH) leader, and that she recently purchased commercial property. She's friends with both Priscilla Waller and Michael Keilen - both of whom are married to IBLP staffers and appear to be very committed to the cult.

Her mother had said that Jana was a very spirited child when she was young - most of us wouldn't have guessed that based off the early specials. I'm assuming she had the spark brainwashed out at that point. You do occasionally see glimmers of sass from her though.

There have been no public courtships for Jana. Speculation is rampant as to why, but the most likely explanation is that she just hasn't been interested in anyone enough to pursue a relationship. There have been rumored romances with a number of men, including former NFL Quarterback Tim Tebow. He was very gracious in denying the rumors. Tabloids have also erroneously linked her to Caleb Williams (who has since been publicly revealed as a child raping asshole) and Lawson Bates.

As the eldest daughter, Jana appears to have had a great deal of responsibility within her family. She was the one who took charge of the J'Slaves and appears to have done a great deal of the child raising (because her parents are lazy assholes who just want to fuck for Jesus.) When Jackson was found after getting lost at an airport on 19 Kids, he ran straight to Jana for comfort. And when Josie had a febrile seizure on the final season of 19 Kids, it was Jana who took charge of the situation. She was the one who held Josie, who rode in the ambulance, and who gave a TH outside Josie's room once she was settled. Her parents were too busy being entitled pricks elsewhere.

She did the alterations on Jill's bridesmaid dresses and I believe she sewed the ties the men wore for Jill's wedding as well (Jana served as Jill's Maid of Honor.) She clearly was no fan of Jessa's Bridesmaid dress selection. When confronted by the pink and ruffled monstrosity she made a face and had to be heavily persuaded to try it on. She almost managed to refuse to show it off for the cameras, but I think Jessa's death glare persuaded her. 

Speaking of Jessa, the two of them haven't always gotten along too well. Jana once tearfully recounted how once, when Jessa was around seven or eight, they got into an argument. The girls were sleeping on bunk beds and Jana had the bunk above Jessa's. Jessa wouldn't stop kicking Jana's bed and Jana complained to their parents. Their mother responded by telling Jana to give Jessa one of her prized possessions in an effort to show Jessa how much she loved her (kind of a "kill more flies with honey" reasoning, just for lazy parents.) So Jana gave Jessa her jewelry box. No clue whether Jessa actually stopped or not, but I'll assume she did. The important things here are:

1. Jessa was rewarded for being an asshole.

2. Jana was punished for no good reason.

3. And Jana was so upset about the incident that she wound up crying about it over ten years later while publicly discussing it.

Jana is older than her twin, John, by a few minutes. The jury is out on just how close the two are. Some posters think they have a typical twin closeness and made a pact not to marry immediately or at all for whatever reason. Others think that, while they may have been close as kids, that they drifted as teenagers due to their cult's ridiculous adherence to strict gender roles. Regardless, Michelle must have done something right during that pregnancy because both twins appear to be hardworking and halfway decent human beings. 

Jana has one dog, Willow (#freewillowtoo), and appears to enjoy gardening. She has a pretty nice looking garden at the TTH. 

Jana's storylines on the shows have included volunteer work, Midwife training with Jill, and various storylines meant to show she isn't the family servant (but which really just reinforce the idea.) Oh. And constantly getting asked whether she's seeing anyone in THs.

John is the third child and second son of Jim Bob and Michelle. He was born on January 12, 1990 (29) a few minutes after his twin sister, Jana. We can count the Rapture as officially beginning on June 26, 2018 because that’s the day John’s courtship with Abbie Grace Burnett was announced. Abbie was born April 16, 1992 (27) and was listed as a registered LPN in Oklahoma, apparently making her the most educated Duggar girlfriend or spouse thus far. Their engagement was announced on July 25th, 2018 and they married on November 3, 2018 in Oklahoma. 

John seems to be a relatively private person. He was never a major player on 19 Kids, though he has been featured more on Counting On. What we have seen indicates he is a hard worker, has a sense of humor, and he appears to be easy to get along with. He did state how disappointed he was in Josh during the first Counting On episodes. He also stated he felt pressure to really be a good example for his younger siblings after that. So I think it's fair to say he likely takes his family responsibilities seriously.

Prior to announcing his courtship with Abbie, some posters here believed he was purposely delaying marriage for various reasons - the most mentioned being a pact with his twin to protect the younger siblings at home or a desire to avoid fathering a small army. No one really knows if he purposely avoided marriage or not, though he did win over some FJ hearts by proclaiming himself a "Bachelor until the Rapture" at Joy's wedding in May 2017.

John is apparently good friends with Zach Bates. He served as a Groomsman at his wedding to Whitney in December 2013 and Kelly Bates (Zach's mother) has mentioned that John really helped Zach cope after his courtship with Sarah Reith failed. John has also served as Groomsman at five of his married sibling's weddings - Fuckface, Jill, Jinger, Joseph, and Joy. 

John has some sort of pilot's license and helps fly family members around the country as needed. I believe he helped fly Anna and Meredith to Illinois to visit Josh when he was in Jesus Jail. He also appears to do some work in construction and volunteers with the local police or Sheriff's office. I believe he owned a home at one point and I think he's currently renting it out.  

John has been a bit of an ass, mostly at weddings. I believe he did something to the car Erin and Chad Paine drove away in after their wedding in November 2013 - I'm thinking he made it smell bad? And I think he helped Andy Leftwich pull a prank with the wedding rings at Zach and Whitney Bates's wedding as well. So John, don't be shocked if someone pranks you in turn when you marry Abbie.

Storylines for John included that one time Michelle feigned interest in her child and hung out doing construction work with him. He's also helped take charge on a few projects during Counting On and I think he was shown giving Joy a flying lesson.

Jill is the fourth child and second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born May 17, 1991 (28.) Derick is the eldest son of Richard "Rick" and Cathy Dillard. He was born March 9, 1989 (30.) They began courting in November 2013, and they were engaged March 29 2014. The wedding was held at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas on June 21, 2014. The couple opted for a covenant marriage, which is only offered in three states (Arizona, Arkansas, and Louisiana) and which limits grounds for divorce. They have two sons: Israel David (April 2015) and Samuel Scott (July 2017.)

Jill and Derick's courtship was kept very quiet. They were already engaged when the courtship was announced in early April 2014. Derick's first real contact with the Duggars appears to have occurred around Christmas 2011 when he showed up to sing carols at the TTH. Shortly after, he asked Jim Bob to be his prayer buddy during his time in Nepal. Jim Bob agreed and an unholy alliance was born. Derick left for Nepal in January 2012 and for the next year he and Jim Bob spoke by phone. It appears Jim Bob was the one to think Jill would get along well with Derick and he started mentioning her more in their discussions and had Jill listen in on calls. 

The pair first spoke in March of 2013 and began speaking regularly in August. That November, she and her father flew to Nepal to visit Derick and they began courting. Upon his return home, Jill became so excited that she front hugged him and Michelle looked like she was going to choke a bitch. For the proposal, Derick worked with a songwriter to craft a song that told the story of his relationship with Jill. The songwriter performed the song for them during what Jill thought was a normal walk in the park during a date. The song, and her reaction ("Yes! Totally!"), were widely mocked on FJ. There was some awkward premarital counseling that Jim Bob did with Derick where he asked a ton of inappropriate questions about finances. I'd feel worse for Derick, but he's an asshole. They honeymooned for a week in Devil Kills Hill, NC - without TLC cameras.

FJ Posters either sympathize with Jill or hate her. There is no middle ground. That's what happens when you're one of the more outspoken Duggars though - you're turned into a mouthpiece for the family and most of the hate winds up directed at you (until you become an adult and start making dumb choices on your own.) 

Jill was always a very sweet natured and helpful person. Her mother has stated that the buddy system was started because Jill wanted to help care for future baby Joy so badly. I think Michelle just didn't want to be bothered mothering her own child and figured seven was old enough to be a parent. Regardless, Jill's sweet and people pleasing personality likely worked heavily in her favor as she grew up in the cult. She was known as the family tattle tale - Josh made a big fucking deal about this during his speech at the Dills' wedding rehearsal dinner - and she appears to be a favorite of her parents', likely due to her good natured personality.

No amount of favoritism could spare her from abuse though. I don't know if she was ever blanket trained, but she was sexually assaulted by her brother in 2002 when she was 10 or 11. Jill was tentatively identified as the victim sleeping on the couch who half awoke when Josh removed her blanket. In 2015, Jill publicly defended her parents and brother during a disastrous Megyn Kelly interview she did with Jessa. Jill said that the release of the police reports was worse than the actual abuse and that two thirds of families will face some sort of sexual abuse - both of which just make me go... what the fuck? 

At one point, Jill had stated she wanted to be a Nurse. After praying about it (and possibly at the direction of her parents), Jill began studying Midwifery instead. Jill appears to have honestly enjoyed her studies and attending births. Her mentor appears to have been Venessa Giron - we have a thread about how she screwed up a birth so badly that she lost her license. After Venessa lost her license to practice in Arkansas both Jill and Jana were removed from the list of apprentice Midwives in the state. It seems likely that Venessa's fuck up screwed Jill over when it came to her apprenticeship and it seems that Jill would have to start over again with a different mentor if she wants full licensure. She received her NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) certification, but that still doesn't qualify her to work in Arkansas. 

Derick grew up with one younger brother, Daniel. His father attended Oklahoma State University and served three years as the school mascot, Pistol Pete. His father later worked as a police officer in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He died, very suddenly, of undiagnosed heart disease, on January 18, 2008 at the age of 50. At the time, Derick was a student at OSU and had decided to secretly try out for the position of Pistol Pete. Cathy says when she told him his father had died, one of the first things he said was that he regretted that his dad would never know he was going to try out for Pete. He failed to make the cut in April of 2008, but he did succeed a year later.

Derick graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors in Accounting. I'm not sure what he did the rest of that year other than become prayer besties with Jim Bob. He wound up in Nepal as a Student Volunteer Coordinator. Apparently he helped American volunteer teams aid Tibetan refugees. This was what he wrote on his LinkedIn profile, so who the fuck really knows. Anyways, he was there from January 2012 until January 2014. He worked as a Tax Accountant for Walmart from February 2014 until June 2015. No one is really sure why he chose to leave or if he was asked to due to filming conflicting with work. 

In August of 2014, almost two months after marrying, Jill and Derick announced their first pregnancy. It seemed to stretch on forever due to Jill's enthusiastic updates, their decision to announce so early, and the fact that the baby didn't arrive until 11 days past his due date. We don't really know the full story, but Jill was allegedly in labor for 70 hours and she made some pretty stupid decisions (including taking castor oil.) Their eldest son, Israel, was delivered via c-section in early April 2015 and clocked in at 9 pounds 10 ounces and 23 inches long.

On June 26, 2015 Jill and Derick announced that they would be serving as missionaries in Scary Central America (SCA) with S.O.S. Ministries. They setup their own family foundation, grifted donations off of people, didn't really explain what they were doing, and flew down right around July 4. They returned a little over a month later to attend the wedding of Michael Bates to Brandon Keilen (August 15 in Tennessee), then flew back down the same weekend. The next month they were back to attend the wedding of Jill's only paternal cousin, Amy, over Labor Day weekend. They remained in the states until sometime in October - during this time, Jill passed an exam and was added to the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM). I'm still not sure what that allows her to do - she still can't practice in Arkansas though because she hasn't fulfilled all the state's requirements for licensure. 

The Dills appear to have remained in SCA until August 2016 when they returned home again. They were able to meet Dan Dillard's now-wife (Deanna) for the first time, appear to have worked on some sort of bible class, and Jill assisted with the birth of some unnamed child the morning of September 20th. Jill served as a Bridesmaid at her sister Jinger's wedding on November 5 and she and Derick were both in the wedding party for Dan and Deanna a week later on November 12. 

On December 20, 2016 the Dills announced they were expecting their second child in early July. It appears that they waited until Jill was either in her second trimester or very close to it to announce this time. No real reason was given for that change. They announced the baby was a boy in late January - on the show, they setup a scavenger hunt for Jill's younger siblings to complete and at the end they revealed an outfit that would fit a two year old boy easily. FJ is still confused about why they chose toddler clothing as opposed to infant clothing. Personally, I don't give a shit - just dress your kid appropriately for the weather and we're good.

Jill and Derick were very quiet about this pregnancy. There were no chalkboard updates showing off Jill's bump or anything. Some FJers took that as a sign that they weren't excited or something was wrong with the baby. It's more likely a combination of not having reliable internet access, having an older child to focus on, and possibly wanting to keep their lives a bit more private after the massive media backlashes they've endured since marrying.

They returned to SCA after Henry Seewald was born in early February 2017 and remained there until mid-May, when they returned to the states again for Joy's wedding on May 26th and for the birth of their second child. Jill served as Joy's Maid of Honor and everything about her wedding attire was criticized by FJers - despite the fact that a lot of her attire wouldn't have been her choice and Jill wouldn't have worn it if Joy hadn't been ok with it.

And just a reminder - they continued asking for donations while living in a debt free mansion owned by Jim Bob. They did remove the donate button after announcing they'd be staying stateside for a while, so I guess that's a positive. But there's something particularly tone deaf about begging for money while living rent free in a huge ass house.

On July 8, Derick announced that their second son, Samuel, had arrived via c-section after 40 hours of labor. It was unclear where Jill had labored or whether she had actually attempted a home VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean.) One photo was released on the 8th. Several more were released on Thursday the 13th, sparking concerns about Samuel and Jill's health. The FJ speculation train completely derailed and burst into flames before Jill shared a photo of all four Dillards looking healthy and happy. On August 8, it was announced that the Dillards would be remaining in the United States for the time being rather than returning to SCA. The innocent people of SCA must be breathing a collective sigh of relief. 

Derick apparently has some sort of Allergies. I think it's linked to certain foods and exercise. Regardless, that's why he was shown puking his brains out on an episode of Counting On. Oh, and Jill had something wonky going on with her carotid artery I think? But I'm pretty sure everything was, like, totally fine.

In addition to food and exercise allergies, Derick seems to be allergic to using common sense when he uses twitter. He greatly enjoys tweeting hateful shit about teh gays, abortion, and ebil transgender people. One observant FJer pointed out he always seems to target transgender children (such as the Boy Scouts or actual TLC star Jazz Jennings) and the running theory as to why is because he knows he'd get his ass handed to him on a rainbow platter if he went after an adult.

Shortly after the birth of their second son, TLC announced that Derick would no longer be featured on “Counting On.” Derick later stated none of his family would be featured on the show - so we’re currently at 2 Duggar kids and counting who no longer work with TLC. 

The Dills appear to be volunteering with C3, a campus ministry outreach, at Cross Church. I'm convinced half those college kids only show up for the free food. Derick attempted to grift funding to attend some sort of Ministry program through Cross Church - it was shut down multiple times by the fundraising website for violating terms of service. Derick completed the Ministry of Bullshit program in the summer of 2018. He immediately continued his impressive streak of avoiding gainful employment by enrolling in Law School at the University of Arkansas. 

In the second half of 2018, Jill began posting sponsored content on her Instagram account. Her first partnership with Fab, Fit, Fun ended very quickly after the company received a bunch of complaints over their partnering with her. She has since posted content for a few other companies though, including Oliver and Otis, Elora Inspired, and Crew & Co. The Dillards moved into a new home they bought in the spring of 2019.

Storylines have included Jill volunteering with Jana, Jill studying to be a Midwife, that time she panicked before having her wisdom teeth out (no judgement from me - it can be scary for some people), their entire relationship, the births of their sons, and their work in SCA as "missionaries."

Jessa is the fifth child and third daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born November 4, 1992 (26.) Ben is the eldest son of Michael and Guinn Seewald - sidenote: my phone autocorrected Guinn to Guinness and I find that hysterical. He was born May 19, 1995 (24.) Their courtship was announced in early September 2013, and they were engaged August 14, 2014. The wedding was held at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas on November 1, 2014. I believe that the Seewalds, like the Dillards, have a covenant marriage. They have three children: Spurgeon Elliot (November 2015), Henry Wilberforce (February 2017), and Ivy Jane (May 2019.)

It's not entirely clear when Jessa met Ben. According to the Duggar parents, they apparently had met the Seewalds during their time in Little Rock when they attended the same church. This may have been during the time that Josie was in NICU - so December 2009 through around June 2010 (when she was sent home for good.) Based off the Seewalds' blog, we know that Ben and Jessa officially met shortly before he turned 18 in May 2013. From what they've said, it appears Ben developed a crush on Jessa after seeing the family on television and he somehow convinced his parents to drive close to two hours to attend service at the Duggars' church (which I believe was invite only.) The Duggars invited the Seewalds back to their home to fellowship multiple times and Jim Bob eventually suggested that Ben speak with Jessa because what Ben was talking about (theology) was something Jessa was highly interested in at the time. 

The pair began texting each other and continued communicating over the summer. Apparently, someone connected to Ben outed them as a possible couple in August 2013 when they posted photos of the pair at a tag sale or fair or something. Their courtship was formally announced around September 16, 2013. At some point during their courtship, they went on a mini golf double date with Jessa's parents - Jim Bob wound up dry jumping Michelle on the course, likely as a sign of dominance to intimidate Ben. Jessa and Ben looked ready for the ground to swallow them both because it was that awkward. They also took part in a really weird obstacle course challenge with her parents and the Dillards sometime before Jill was married in June 2014. The couples had to complete the course while handcuffed. It was fucking weird.

That winter, Ben accompanied the Duggars on a mission trip to Central America. The night before Ben proposed, he setup a dinner with Jessa, her parents, and his parents. Everyone was aware the proposal was the next day, but Michelle still looked pretty ragey when Ben held Jessa's hand during prayer. The actual proposal was a hellish scavenger hunt that appears to have taken all. fucking. day. Jessa was accompanied by Jinger and Jessa seemed completely over it by the time they were on a train with Michelle and Guinn. Ben proposed at the front of Thorncrown Chapel, a really stunning glass chapel in Eureka Springs, AK. Jessa cried and the pair front hugged, while Jinger watched from the last pew in the church.

The pair became very well known for their fire and brimstone beliefs after the pair got their own Instagram accounts in late May 2014. Ben routinely posted about sin, God, atheists, and seemed to greatly enjoy "preaching" his great "wisdom" to the unwashed masses. Jessa, meanwhile, enjoyed comparing abortion to the Holocaust and posting about atheism, among other riveting topics. Parenthood seems to have mellowed both of them - either because of love, because they wised up to good PR, or because they're too tired from chasing two kids to care about anything else. 

Jessa has long been described as the most stubborn of Jim Bob and Michelle's children. I take that to mean she was the most difficult to beat into submission. She was also Michelle's biggest baby - Jessa was born weighing 9 lbs 15 oz. During her "All About Jessa" pre-wedding episode, it was mentioned multiple times that she was the best at organization and that you "don't mess with Jess." That was about it though. No one seemed capable of mentioning anything else that Jessa was good at or interested in, which is pathetic considering they had close to 22 years to notice something. 

Jessa was sexually assaulted by her eldest brother, Josh, sometime in 2002 when she was between 9 and 10. It's likely she was the sleeping victim who did not wake up and stated that Josh had "moral struggles." She publicly identified herself as one of the victims during the Megyn Kelly interview in 2015, during which she fiercely defended her family and claims Josh was simply a young boy who was a bit too curious about girls. 

Ben is the eldest of seven children - Jessica, Danielle, Michelle, Ethan, Faith, and Thomas. His father works as an auto glass repairman and his mother homeschooled the children. Ben appears to have held a few part-time jobs, including working in auto glass repair and working in car insurance, while pursuing his Associate's degree. He seems to have left those jobs after moving into the Duggars' "guest house" (aka, the creepy warehouse thing.) He continued pursuing his degree while doing some sort of work for Jim Bob. Ben graduated from National Park College in May 2015 and appears to be pursuing an online program through Moody Bible Institute.

For their honeymoon, the couple first spent a private week or two somewhere in Arkansas. Jessa posted the infamous black and white make out photo during this time - the one that her parents later spoofed because they're weird. TLC later paid for them to travel to Paris and Rome for a filmed honeymoon. I didn't watch, but apparently Jessa wore cute outfits and they acted kind of weird while eating some of the Italian food or something.

On April 21, 2015, Jessa announced she was pregnant with their first child. Her due date was November 1, 2015. She posted several updates about the pregnancy, including a few photos of her growing bump. Shortly before the birth, she posted a text between herself and her mother-in-law where they discussed possible baby weights. The pair chose not to reveal the baby's sex ahead of the birth, but accepted name suggestions through their website. Jessa was in labor on her birthday and their son was born on November 5, 2015 at their home. Jessica Seewald spilled the beans on the baby's sex when she posted an image to Instagram proclaiming she was an Aunt (it heavily featured blue color.)  

After the birth, Jessa apparently hemorrhaged and had to be transported to the hospital. Many FJers mocked the 911 call Michelle made, though many of us defended her tone and word choices due to Michelle needing to remain calm and the Duggars knowing (at that point) that the call could be made public. Jessa received a blood transfusion and was released a few days later. They finally revealed their son's name, Spurgeon Elliot Seewald, about a week after his birth. His first name is in honor of Charles Spurgeon, who Ben apparently admires greatly and who was a rabid Catholic hater. Many FJers believe that Jessa was pissed over the name order and wanted Elliot as the first name, though no concrete evidence exists to prove that either way. Regardless, it's been almost two years and many FJers still can't get over his name. 

Jessa served as Matron/Maid of Honor at her sister Jinger's wedding on November 5, 2016. On August 23, 2016, the pair announced that Jessa was expecting their second child. She shared less about this pregnancy than her first, likely because she had two older children to care for that time. They decided, again, not to reveal the baby's sex until after the birth. Their son was born at their home early on February 6, 2017 after only a few hours of labor. A few days went by before they publicly announced that they had named him Henry Wilberforce Seewald - apparently Jessa really loved the name Henry and Wilberforce was in honor of William Wilberforce (a politician and religious guy who helped end the slave trade or something.)

Jessa and Ben live in the same two bedroom home owned by Grandma Mary that Fuckface and Anna lived in as newlyweds. In the summer of 2017, the house was transferred to the Seewalds and the assessed value was, I believe, $100,000 (which isn't a bad price for the specs and the area.) Speculation is that they'll either sell it for a bigger place or they'll add an addition to accommodate their growing herd of children.

Jinger is the sixth child and fourth daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born December 21, 1993 (25.) Jeremy is the youngest child of Charles and Diana Vuolo. He was born September 5, 1987 (31.) Their courtship was announced in June 2016, and they were engaged July 28, 2016. The wedding was held at the Cathedral of the Ozarks on the John Brown University campus in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on November 5, 2016. Not sure if they have a covenant marriage or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. Jinger’s first pregnancy was announced on January 3, 2018 via US Magazine. Their daughter, Felicity Nicole, was born in a hospital on July 19th after Jinger was induced ahead of her due date. They also have one cat, Jake. #freethekittytooiguess

Jinger appears to have been matched up with Jeremy thanks to Jessa and Ben. Jeremy apparently met the Seewalds sometime in the fall of 2014 or early in 2015 when the pair were in San Antonio or Laredo, likely on their way to or from some stupid conference. The Seewalds asked a friend where to go for fellowshipping and they pointed them towards Jeremy. He was in attendance at Jessa's baby shower in the fall of 2015 and was featured on Counting On briefly. He went on a mission trip with the Duggars that December to SCA, where the Dills had setup shop and on December 11, he received permission (gag) to get to know Jinger better. The courtship officially began in late May, though they didn't announce it publicly for about a month. 

Jeremy proposed to Jinger after spending the day in New York City. Michelle, Jessa, Ben, and Spurgeon chaperoned. The actual proposal took place on a rooftop with a nice shot of the city behind them. It was apparently nice enough, but was widely mocked on FJ due to the very visible tape marking where they should stand (because no moment is too private for TLC!)

Jinger likes taking photos and took engagement photos for Jill and Jessa. She was also shown baking bread with Joy. She has a well known love for coffee and I like to imagine that she talks like a chipmunk on crack when she has too much at once. Growing up, Jinger was very close with Jessa - it appears Jessa was the leader and Jinger just kind of followed along. The Vuolos' choice to hold their wedding on the first birthday of Jessa's eldest son split FJ - half of posters seemed to think it was rude and half of us thought it was no biggie for various reasons. 

In May 2015, it was revealed that four Duggar daughters had been molested by their eldest brother between 2002 and 2003. Jill and Jessa, who were both married, stepped forward as victims, but the other victims remained silent. FJ Admins banned speculation concerning the identities of the other sisters because they hadn't publicly stepped forward and the Admins felt (correctly) that they deserved their privacy. In mid-May 2017, a lawsuit was filed against the magazine (In Touch) which originally printed the police reports as well as the county and city the reports came from. The lawsuit publicly identified all four of the sisters who were assaulted - Jill, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy. FJ Admins had some tough discussions, but ultimately decided that the lawsuit amounted to Jinger and Joy publicly stepping forward. As such, the ban on speculation was lifted. 

Jinger and Joy have not publicly spoken about their assaults, but reading through the reports after Jill and Jessa gave their disastrous interview with Megyn Kelly made it clear that Jinger was the laundry room victim. She would have been between 9 and 10 years old at the time and the police reports made it clear that she remembered what had happened and was somewhat traumatized. 

Jinger served as Jessa's Maid of Honor and gave an emotional speech at their rehearsal dinner that left her in tears. That speech combined with a testimony video she made with Ben left many on FJ concerned that she may be blaming herself for something - and after the molestation revelations, some FJers were concerned Jinger blamed herself for her own assault. No concrete evidence exists to support or disprove this and its also possible that Jinger is just an emotional young woman.

Jeremy was homeschooled for most of his education. He attended a normal high school for his senior year before attending Hartwick College for three years (2006-2009) and a year at Syracuse (2010.) Jeremy played soccer as a goalkeeper for both Hartwick and Syracuse, as well as several professional teams. He also appeared for PDL Club Reading United between 2005 and 2010. After graduating, he signed with AC Oulu (a Finish team) for a year before returning to the states to play for the New York Red Bulls. He was dropped from that team in January 2013 and claimed he was stepping away from the game, but a few months later it was announced he had signed with the San Antonio Scorpions (so who the fuck really knows.) By 2014 he had lost his place on that team and hasn't played since.

Jeremy worked as a Pastor at Grace Community Church in Laredo, where the couple purchased a home. He has preached lovely things like homosexuality being a sin, bitched about contemporary Christian services being too fun, and labeled Catholicism pagan and demonic. So yeah - he's nice enough to look at, but only if he keeps his big ass mouth shut. He did let Jinger wear pants though, so he's, like, totes the best. (End sarcasm - I think he's probably as big an asshole as Derick, just better at hiding it.) Jeremy left his job in Laredo when the family relocated to the Los Angeles area in the summer of 2019. 

Other than wearing pants, Jinger has experimented with sleeveless tops and slit skirts. She's also been seen on the show shopping for gifts for the various little kids in Arkansas. They've visited Jeremy's parents and had a six month visitation ban after their wedding so they could get settled into life without family (meaning, the Duggars) constantly descending on them. Their honeymoon to Australia and New Zealand was filmed for the show and featured a memorable scene where Jeremy basically mauled Jinger during a cooking class. The chef wasn't impressed and Jinger allegedly looked kind of embarrassed. 

Did I mention they left for their honeymoon after the US Presidential election? And that smart money says these assholes voted for Trump? Just a reminder for anyone salivating over Jeremy and crowning him with laurels because Jinger is wearing pants. 

Anyways, speculation was rampant regarding these two because they hadn’t announced a pregnancy during their first year of marriage. Some FJers were convinced they used NFP or another approved prevention method. Others think they weren’t preventing and just took longer to concieve. And a few posters took a dive off the deep end when proclaiming they must be using hormonal birth control - despite Jinger being raised to think birth control is actually murder. 

Jinger and Lawson Bates were long rumored to be interested in one another.  A photo of Lawson standing very close to Jinger at Amy Duggar King’s September 2015 wedding only added fuel to the fire. After her courtship and engagement were announced, Lawson posted on social media a few times in which he sounded broken hearted (I believe it was on Instagram, but I don't see the posts anymore.) Speculation was torn between it being a genuine reaction and Lawson simply pimping out his latest single.

Jeremy appears to have had a brief battle with "pocketphobia" - the severe fear of one's own pockets - immediately before proposing to Jinger. In what may have been a weird storyline by TLC or a legitimate moment of nervousness on Jeremy's behalf, Jeremy gave the ring to a friend in another state who he wasn't supposed to see until after the proposal. I'm not entirely sure about the details, but it sounds weird.

In September 2018, Jeremy signed this piece of shit statement: https://statementonsocialjustice.com. It basically says social justice isn’t real and anyone claiming otherwise is ungodly. He was the target of a lot of criticism on FJ for doing so. Jinger did not sign the statement herself, but she chose to remain silent about it. For that reason she also received some well deserved criticism from FJers.  

In December of 2018, I took it upon myself to recap one of the Bible Study videos posted to the GCC Laredo YouTube account. The study was led by Jeremy in February 2016 and was based off the work of the late David Martyn Lloyd-Jones of Westminster Chapel and featured Jeremy staying such gems as:

1. “But Biblically mandated discipline has absolutely no physical consequence to the child and it’s to drive the foolishness from them and it’s called abuse in our day.” 

Stated in regards to using physical punishment to discipline children. Note that he stated nothing about the psychological/emotional harm that physical punishment can cause.

2.  “One of the - the little boy was five years old and decided that he didn’t want to be a boy anymore, but now he wants to be a girl. So now Devin is Devina and the kid has told his parents and determined well, I’m not really a boy, I’m a girl. And so the parents say well ok, if you’re a girl you’re a girl and so they go along with it. Well that’s a - a sign of the child is ruling. The parents have no discipline over the child or no instruction of what’s right and wrong. It’s just whatever you feel you do and now you’ve got a child who’s barely come to cognitive understanding of the world the last couple of years determining how they were created is wrong and now they’re gonna redo that.”

That is a direct quote from Jeremy in which he makes Transphobic statements about Devina Keswani, who was only 6 years old at the time. 

3. “He doesn’t know how to be a Dad. He doesn’t know how to love that little girl. He’s just a kid himself!”

Said by Jeremy when the topic of “kids having kids” is brought up. Pretty ballsy for a guy who wasn’t married and had no kids of his own at the time. 

Jeremy is currently a student at The Master’s Seminary. I have no clue what he’s studying. The school is currently on probation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges’ Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) due to concerns with the school’s personnel and operational decisions. The school has until sometime in 2020 to clean up their act. Jeremy and Jinger have remained silent about the probation. 

Storylines for Jinger included her relationship with Jeremy, their wedding, and newlywed life. Other than that I got nothing. I don't watch the show because I like having brain cells.

Joseph Garrett and Kendra (neé Caldwell) Duggar:

Joseph is the seventh child and third son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He was born January 20, 1995 (24.) Kendra is the eldest child of Paul and Christina Caldwell. She was born on August 11, 1998 (20.) Their courtship was announced in March 2017, and they were engaged May 26, 2017 during Joy’s wedding reception (with help from the Bride herself.) The virgins were sacrificed on the altar of matrimony on September 8, 2017. They have one son, Garrett David Duggar (June 2018.) Kendra’s second pregnancy was announced in April 2019. Their daughter is due in November.

Joseph and Kendra appear to have met through Church. Kendra's father is a super hot homophobic asshole who apparently works at a church (Lighthouse Baptist in Fayetteville) the Duggars have gone to. They announced their courtship on March 8, 2017. FJers were initially split on Joseph's choice to propose during younger sister Joy's wedding - however, her wedding episode revealed Joseph had the newlyweds' blessing and that he chose to propose during the reception. After that most FJers were ok with it, especially since the proposal led to the happy couple relating a story of how Joseph had panicked slightly when Kendra had tried stealing a mint from his pocket - not because she almost accidentally found the ring, but because it was really funny picturing her reaching into his pants pocket when they aren't even allowed to front hug (and I'm pretty sure they were talking about his coat pocket, but still.)

The couple celebrated their nuptials with a joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party. It was held at a lake, included both families, and featured water sports. Many on FJ were amused at the choice because Joseph had just admitted to a fear of water (or something along those lines) on one of those stupid "after shows" they occasionally do. Joseph said the lake was Kendra's idea as he just wanted her to be happy - which, I admit, is actually kind of sweet. The episode that covered the bash featured JD steering a boat and doing his best to throw them off an inner tube - it led to some extremely NIKE! moments as they repeatedly fell all over each other.

They were married at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, AR by Kendra’s father. Their wedding party consisted of a ton of family members and sparked considerable debate on FJ by their decision to include Fuckface as a Groomsman. This was the first sibling’s wedding where he was included in the wedding party.

Joseph is the only Duggar who attended any sort of college. He spent one or two semesters attending Crown College of the Bible in Tennessee where he was working on a real estate certificate program. During this time he stayed with the Bates family (who also have too many fucking kids) and was rumored to be getting to know one of the Bates daughters - either Tori or Carlin (both of whom are currently in other relationships.) I have no clue whether or not he actually finished the program or not, but I assume this legitimately interesting storyline wasn't featured on the show(s) because the Bateses have an equally boring show on another network. Joseph also attended Alert (Air, Land, Emergency, Resource Team), the IBLP fake military camp thing.

Other than that, Kendra does like to giggle. A LOT. Her parents are ridiculously young looking. They were married in January 1998, meaning Kendra was either born premature or was a pleasant (or not so pleasant) surprise. She has six younger siblings - Lauren, Micah, Nathan, Timothy, Olivia, and Jesiah. Her father earned some well deserved criticism after his church was found to be passing out homophobic flyers recently. He claimed it was a loving effort to reach out to the LGBTQ+ community, but I call bullshit. He's an ass. A hot ass, but still. An ass.

Storylines have included his relationship and... I'm actually not sure. I don't watch the show and Joseph seems like an "under the radar" type of guy. I'm guessing there was an awkward episode where his parents pretended to hang out with him.

Josiah Matthew and Lauren Milagro (née Swanson) Duggar:

Josiah is the eighth child and fourth son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He was born August 28, 1996 (22.) Lauren is the eldest child of Dwain and Lana Swanson. I believe they currently have nine children and that the youngest (Duke) was born within days of Gideon Forsyth. Lauren was born May 18, 1999 (20.) A very observant FJer noticed photos of Lauren attending events with the Duggars in Australia in January 2018. She was shown signing copies of the Duggars’ books with them and on January 23, 2018 their courtship was announced. On March 5, 2018 Josiah and Lauren announced their engagement. He apparently proposed on the exact spot where her parents became engaged. The couple were married on June 30, 2018 at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR (same venue that the Vuolos picked.) Lauren’s father officiated and Jana and Anna sewed the eight Bridesmaids dresses (because of course they did. ) The couple traveled to Austria for their honeymoon and it led to a riveting episode where they act awkward as fuck around the innocent people of Austria. 

Josiah once said he wanted to be like his eldest brother, Josh. That's about all I need to know... but in the spirit of fairness (because it's not right to judge him off that one comment) I'll continue. He was once a FJ favorite because he had a "spark" and a spunky personality. He's one of the more extroverted Duggars and he seems relatively comfortable on camera. 

Josiah also earned a great deal of sympathy from FJers over the years due to an incident caught on 19 Kids and Counting. Michelle and Jim Bob gathered the children and informed them that Michelle was pregnant with their twentieth child. What happened is not exactly clear, but I'll do my best:

The announcement was video. Immediately afterwards, the video switches to still photos of the family immediately after the announcement - but the sound recorded could still be heard. The photos show Josiah looking somewhat distressed and leaving the frame. Jim Bob goes after him. They both return to the frame and Josiah is seen rubbing his upper arm. The sound indicates some children were excited, but apparently someone is heard calling for Josiah to come back. 

That's it. We have absolutely no idea what may have actually happened and I caution anyone from making claims of purposeful physical abuse. 

Josiah spent a good deal of time at Alert (Air, Land, Emergency, Resource Team), the IBLP training camp thing. I want to say he spent most of 2013 and/or 2014 there. Some people speculate that he was sent as a punishment for son transgression, but it's entirely possible he chose to go.

In 2015 Josiah had a failed courtship with 17 year old Marjorie Jackson, the daughter of family friends. The pair announced their courtship right after the birth of Josiah's nephew, Israel Dillard, in April 2015. Josiah started an Instagram account around that time and shared multiple photos of the pair on dates. By August the pair had split. In a March 2016 People article, Josiah stated that Marjorie felt the timing wasn't right and they decided to end the relationship. Josiah abandoned his account for a time (his last post was Christmas 2015) and Marjorie has clearly moved on with her life - she still wears jeans, attends college, has written two books, just signed a contract for a third book, and recently graduated from John Brown University. Clearly she dodged a massive bullet.

Josiah’s Instagram was miraculously revived in mid-2017. He posts mainly about Alert, IBLP, and family stuff, though he did share a photo of himself looking super serious at an anti-abortion rally. After he and Lauren married they shared a fairly awkward Instagram post about Instagram - it featured a selfie of them looking super upset in front of some movie posters and apparently concerned a completely unbiased in every way film called “Gosnell.”

In mid-February 2019, Lauren and Josiah publicly revealed that Lauren had experienced a miscarriage in October 2018. They revealed they had picked the name Asa for the pregnancy and Lauren seems to have struggled with the loss a great deal. They announced Lauren was pregnant again shortly after her birthday in May 2019. Their daughter is due in November 2019.

Lauren seems to either be extremely awkward, impressively passive aggressive, or both due to a series of missteps on social media - including several comments directed to Joy and Austin that seemed to be attempts to comfort them after their experienced the loss of their daughter at 20 weeks gestation, but came across as tone deaf at best.

I honestly don't know any of his storylines. I'm guessing there's a dentist trip or something he was featured in.

Joy Anna (neé Duggar) and Austin Martyn Forsyth:

Joy is the ninth child and fifth daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born October 28, 1997 (21.) Austin is the youngest child of Terry and Roxanne Forsyth. He was born December 12, 1993 (25.) Their courtship was announced in November 2016, about a week after Jinger's wedding, and they were engaged March 1, 2017. The wedding was held at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas on May 26, 2017. Not sure if they have a covenant marriage or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. On August 30, 2017 it was announced that the Forsyths were expecting their first spawn. No other details were released at the time and no one was surprised. They posted two super classy anti-abortion photos in the same post because that’s what Duggars do. Another day, another knocked up Duggar. Their son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth, was born via emergency c-section on February 23, 2018 after yet another failed Duggar home birth. They announced Joy’s second pregnancy in May 2019. Sadly, that pregnancy ended in the loss of their daughter, Annabell Elise, at around 20 weeks gestation in June of 2019. 

The Duggars and Forsyths apparently met about fifteen years ago when the Forsyths moved to Arkansas and started attending the Duggars' church. It wasn't until around four years ago that Joy allegedly developed feelings for Austin. Like a typical IBLP male, Austin claims he didn't realize - even when Joy started painting her name on the walls of homes Austin was renovating (because she wanted him to see it and think of her - the walls were going to be painted regardless.) I believe Austin's sister, Megan (neé Forsyth) Ballinger, had to spell it out for him. 

Their courtship began sometime in November 2016 - it was announced during the first airing of Jinger's wedding episode on November 16. Austin asked her in a spot they had last been to together in August 2015 and where he often goes to speak with the Lord. For the proposal, Austin tricked Joy into thinking it was a normal date where they'd be horseback riding with two of Joy's younger sisters (Johannah and Jennifer.) At some point, he blindfolded Joy (after asking if it was ok) and led her to a beautiful spot where he proposed. The pair were then served dinner (a deer they had hunted earlier that season together) and were chaperoned by one of Austin's friends. 

If I remember right then Joy and Austin had a total of three honeymoons - I think the first was in Colorado, but I know the second two were to Switzerland and Israel. The Switzerland trip was filmed for TLC. After a brief return stateside to film an after season special for the show, Joy and Austin flew to Israel for an unfilmed Honeymoon in which they apparently traveled with a Christian tour group that harasses Holocaust survivors. So these two are super classy. 

I don't know much about Joy other than the fact that she's long been a FJ favorite. Many people were hopeful that her seemingly spunky nature meant that she'd break free and many of those people were sorely disappointed when her courtship was announced. She seems to have an interest in fitness and, according to Austin, she is great at delegating and getting her siblings to work. I believe she has her GED, but I'm not sure. As for hobbies... not sure. She seems to like being outdoors though. Joy is close friends with Carlin Bates.

Joy was the first Duggar to be raised in a buddy group. According to Michelle, Jill had asked to help out with the new baby and Michelle (being the asshole she is) agreed. Jill and Joy seem to have a very close bond - less sisterly and more of a mother-child relationship. Joy was visibly upset when Jill announced her family was moving to SCA in 2015 and Jill served as Joy's Maid/Matron of Honor during her May 2017 wedding. I'm fairly positive that Jill could probably remember more personal facts about Joy than their parents could.

In May 2015, Josh’s molestation scandal broke and it became publicly known that four of his sisters (and one unrelated female) were his victims. Two sisters (Jill and Jessa) stepped forward within a few months, but the two other sisters (Jinger and Joy) did not identify themselves as victims until a lawsuit naming them was filed on their behalf in May 2017. Due to her age at the time of the molestations, Joy was immediately identified as the storytime victim. She and Jinger have not publicly commented on their assaults nor about the lawsuit.

I have no clue what sort of educational background Austin has. I'd guess he was homeschooled and didn't attend college. He may work at the camp his parents own and it's possible Joy helps out there as well. His father made him promise he would flip five houses before he got married. I believe he flipped the final one early in 2017.

Austin's parents own Fort Rock Christian Family Camp in Combs, Arkansas. They offer various outdoor activities and, if it weren't so heavy on their version of Jesus, it would kind of sound like a cool place to visit. Joy was featured in a family photo on the camp's website sometime after the courtship was announced - so the engagement wasn't a huge surprise. In 2009, the Forsyths appeared on the first season of World's Strictest Parents. Some FJers found the episode online and were creeped out by the parents, especially Austin's father - and you know it's bad if FJers are creeped out. 

Joy started promoting some sort of weight loss program on Instagram in late 2018. I guess her “coach” is the mother-in-law of Austin’s older sister (Meghan Ballinger.) The whole thing seems shady and doesn’t seem like it’ll lead to lasting weight loss or the development of healthy habits. Joy was the subject of criticism on FJ for a response to a self-identified anorexia patient that seemed to encourage the person to contact her coach for information about the weight loss plan. Joy was polite and apologetic in a private conversation another Instagram user had with her regarding the inappropriateness of the exchange, so hopefully she learned a valuable lesson from this. 

Storylines for Joy included... her relationship I guess. And there was that time she drove Ben around the Duggar property in a golf cart and people thought she looked so over him.

Jedidiah Robert Duggar and Jeremiah Robert Duggar:

Jedidiah is the tenth child and fifth son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. His fraternal twin, Jeremiah, is the eleventh child and sixth son. They were born on December 30, 1998 (20.) As far as we know, neither brother has had a courtship (though tabloids speculate that Jed was getting to know Kendra Caldwell before she started courting his older brother, Joseph.) Jedidiah was one of Jinger's buddies and Jeremiah was one of Jessa's buddies.

Don't bother trying to remember which twin is which. Like all the Duggar males, they suffer from a distinct lack of public interest. Jeremiah graduated from Alert in the spring of 2016. Jedidiah didn't attend Alert, but did send daily emails to his twin to encourage him. Both twins appear to have finished their formal educations the same time Joy did.

Don't even ask about storylines. I know they did something with cars to make Jinger look like an interesting human being and that's it.

Jason Michael Duggar, James Andrew Duggar, Justin Samuel Duggar, and Jackson Levi Duggar:

Don't bother learning much about them yet. Like their brothers, they suffer from a lack of public interest at the moment and they all kind of blend together. I doubt their biological parents even know which is which at times. Once they hit their late teens or early twenties interest may be generated, but only if they're photographed with a non-related female. Regardless: 

Jason is twelfth child and seventh son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He was born on April 21, 2000 (19.) Jason was part of Jana's buddy group. In early 2017, it was reported that he had purchased a home for $33,000. No details have emerged as to what he intends to do with the property. Jason is apparently the child who once fell into an orchestra pit - I assume his parents weren't paying attention. Jill found the hole he fell in - she and John inmoboilzed his neck while waiting for EMTs to arrive (I believe Jana assisted as well.) 

There was much ado over his family using their cell phones after he fell. Some posters (most) thought they were recording him because they're douches. Others thought they might have been using the phones to illuminate the area so they could see where he was. Regardless, Michelle stated some of the adult kids recorded it all. I'm pretty sure Josh was shown recording Jason being wheeled down a hallway with Michelle at his side. Jason had at least two chipped teeth, possibly other injuries as well.

James is the thirteenth child and eighth son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He was born on July 7, 2001 (18.) He was part of Jill's buddy group and spent a lot of time with her during her first year of marriage. I think Jill was shown teaching him multiplication at one point during that time and FJers were appalled because the material was nowhere near what he should have been learning at the time. General consensus was that either his parents really are the worst or they're worse than the worst. He looks very similar to his cousin Amy - so much so that Amy has joked in the past about him being her secret child (he's not, but the resemblance is uncanny.)

Justin is the fourteenth child and ninth son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He was born on November 15, 2002 (16.) He was part of Jessa's buddy group. Jill used his middle name as her second son's first name. That's all I've got. Sorry Justin!

And Jackson is the fifteenth child and tenth son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He was born on May 23, 2004 (15.) He was part of Jana's buddy group. Jackson also holds the distinction of being the first Duggar born on camera (during the first special, 14 Children and Pregnant Again!) I also believe it was Jackson who got lost at an airport once - his absolutely fantastic parents didn't notice until it was announced that a child was found on the speakers and Jackson immediately ran to Jana for comfort.

Johannah Faith Duggar, Jennifer Danielle Duggar, Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar, and Josie Brooklyn Duggar:

The four youngest Duggars and Mack, their eldest niece, released a CD in 2018. It was titled, “Happy Heart,” and the four youngest were promoted as mini-versions of their eldest sisters because that’s totally healthy and normal. 

Johannah (Hannie) is the sixteenth child and sixth daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born October 11, 2005 (13.) Hannie was part of Jinger's buddy group.

I don't know much about her. She's apparently a bit of a spitfire at times like her older sisters Jana and Jessa. When she was younger she was apparently very close with Jackson - the two did THs together a lot. Based off the reactions of posters here, those THs were some of the most adorable footage to ever grace TV (and I don't doubt it.)

One episode featured Hannie going horseback riding with Michelle for her "special day" with the walking wonder womb. Michelle managed to make the day all about her fear of horses, rather than about how awesome it was to spend time with her child. They also wore the most ridiculous skirts, which could have posed a safety hazard due to the billowy fabric. I think it was stated that Hannie wanted to be a Doctor at some point, which is sad considering it's not likely to happen. 

Jennifer (Jenni) is the seventeenth child and seventh daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born August 2, 2007 (11.) Jenni is the youngest member of Jill's buddy team. She was very attached to Jill and I believe she may have been visibly upset before Jill's wedding because it meant her "mom" was leaving. She was also visibly upset during Joy’s wedding dress shopping and wedding episodes as well, likely because Joy took over the buddy group when Jill left.

I think it was Jenni who got freaked out by Jim Bob wearing a beard when she was a toddler. I think the Duggars were in a play about Moses or something. Regardless, Jenni's reaction was pretty close to how I feel every time I see Jim Bob, Michelle, or Fuckface. Jenni is known as one of the Lost Girls because she's often overlooked due to Josie. She often came across as sad on the show and FJers were torn on whether she was depressed or simply hated being on camera. I personally think she just hated being on camera.

Jenni was shown on one episode going to the eye doctor with Michelle. It was about as awkward as you'd expect a complete stranger bringing a child to the doctor would be. Jenni also has expressed interest in being a Veterinarian when she grows up - I hate her parents a little more each time I think about this poor kid not even getting the chance to pursue this.

Jordyn is the eighteenth child and eighth daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She was born on December 18, 2008 (10.)  Jordyn was a member of Jessa's buddy team. She's often referred to as one of the "Lost Girls" because she's so often overshadowed by her younger sister. Jordyn appears pretty close to her eldest niece, Mackynzie (who is about ten months younger than her.) I'm pretty sure Jordyn was the one who, as an infant, was fed peas (or something) right out of a can while laying flat on the couch.

For her eighth birthday, the family had dinner at Acambaro (allegedly her favorite Mexican restaurant.) She was described by her mother in a weird birthday video as being very loving, helpful, and able to make friends with any baby instantly. Pretty sure Jessa would have done a better job describing her, but whatevs.

Josie is the nineteenth child and ninth daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She is their last surviving child. Josie was born at 25 weeks gestation (15 weeks premature) due to complications from preeclampsia on December 10, 2009 (9.) At birth she weighed just 1 lb., 6 oz. A week after her birth she suffered a perforated bowel and she was rushed to Arkansas Children's Hospital. Doctors were able to treat her with a drain and antibiotics. Jim Bob praised the medical staff as wonderful in a People article on January 29, 2010 - I didn't see any God reference in that quote and it was weird because they always mention God. Josie was released from the hospital on April 6 and the family was given medical approval to return to their Tonitown home on June 23.

Josie is often referred to as The Miracle Child on FJ - this isn't a slight towards Josie, but towards her parents (who love to trot her out for anti-abortion purposes.) As the youngest surviving child and a micropreemie, her family has somewhat infantilized Josie. She seems to get away with behavior that the other children can't, such as licking pizza toppings before placing them on the pizzas. One of the NICU Nurses who cared for her was at Jinger's wedding and for some reason TLC decided to focus on that a little bit. It was weird, even by Duggar standards. 

Josie's health is a bit of a mystery. On the final season of 19 Kids and Counting, Josie suffered a febrile seizure. Jana was shown holding her over a sink (in case she threw up) and John rushed her out to an ambulance in his arms. Jana later did a TH outside Josie's hospital room. Febrile seizures are apparently common in micropreemies and, given her very early birth, some health problems wouldn't be abnormal. That said, she appears to be a relatively normal child and I honestly hope she continues to grow healthy and strong. 

Storylines include her mom's pregnancy with her, her premature birth, that time she pooped her pants (and TLC decided to air it because humiliating a young child is great for ratings), that time her idiot parents took micropreemie Josie overseas to Israel (and Michelle and Jill had to stay with her when she got a bit sick), and that time she helped Michelle find a crib in one of their warehouses full of shit.

I'm including them simply because I find their unique brand of dysfunction amusing. Also because Amy has clung to the coat tails of her family's fame this long, so why not?

Amy is the only child of Deanna Duggar (elder sister to Jim Bob) and Terry Jordan. She was born out of wedlock, which is a term that really should be retired, and seems to have been rather close to her cousins growing up. She was born on September 30, 1986 (32), making her the eldest of the Duggar cousins. Dillon was born at some point, but he doesn't matter much other than the times he's thrown shade at his in-laws. Like on Valentine's Day 2015 when he posted a collage of him kissing Amy and asked where in the Bible it said he couldn't kiss her. Good times, good times. They announced Amy’s first pregnancy in April 2019. Their son, Daxton Ryan, is due in October 2019.

Amy and Dillon were friends for a looooooong time. Like, back to the days before Amy learned what darkening your eyebrows was. I think they dated at some point, but ended things because Amy allegedly cheated. That may have been another boyfriend though. Anyways, I think they started dating in the fall of 2014. Dillon broke his leg shortly after in a car accident and Amy apparently helped care for him. They were engaged on July 12, 2015. He proposed to her by setting up a really kind of beautiful surprise in the woods complete with lights and photos of the pair. His sister, Loren King, took photos of the pair during the proposal. 

Their wedding was held on September 6, 2015. It featured sinful booze, sinful dancing, a sinful strapless wedding gown, a dress change by Amy for the reception, an actual sit down dinner, and an outdoor ceremony. How this counts as a Duggar wedding is beyond me, but apparently it does somehow. Amy and Dillon were polite enough to accommodate her family's beliefs by having the DJ announce when dancing would start, giving them time to leave so as not to offend their delicate sensibilities.

They honeymooned in Mexico. There was much booze and bikinis. After returning, they somehow managed to get a People cover which declared Amy to be the "rebel Duggar." If by rebel they mean fairly normal by the general public's standards, then sure. They've since appeared on Marriage Bootcamp where they complained about each other, alleged that Amy's dad once physically abused her, argued about whether to have kids, and basically made her cousins' marriages look normal - which is impressive because Josh screwed his marriage up so monumentally. They're still married though and haven't killed each other yet, so good for them I guess.  TLC gave them a special for some reason. It aired in 2017 and showed them on a trip somewhere for their first anniversary. 

Amy did not attend college, but did attend normal schools (possibly private Christian, but possibly public.) She worked (I believe part-time) as a nanny for a number of years, has helped occasionally at Dillon's business, has a seasonal "pop up" store at a mall in the winter, and currently works as an Associate Buyer for Skye Town (her favorite boutique.) I'm not really sure what that position means, but I'm guessing she gets to travel and buy stuff for the store. She and Dillon also do podcasts on their website - which are apparently pretty boring - and Amy has given her Instagram account more of a fashion focus. She's hawked various boxed services through her account and may have gotten some sort of compensation for it since she used #ad for some of them. 

When it comes to American football, Amy is a Cowboys fan and Dillon is a Saints fan. Both are wrong, but at least they aren't fans of the Patriots. They are big fans of the Second Amendment (Dillon posted a photo and video of Amy dressed like Cookie Monster doing, I believe, target practice on Halloween 2015.)

Amy is very close with her mom and enjoyed a close relationship with her Grandma Mary as well, but I don't believe she has a relationship with her father anymore. She is still in contact with her cousins and extended family, but no longer shares photos about them - the Duggars apparently asked Amy (and I'm guessing others) to stop sharing so much about them after Josh was revealed as a child molester. Amy did share a photo from a girls’ road trip she took with her Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Michelle though in the fall of 2017. Looked like they had fun. She missed Jinger's wedding because she and King Dill were in Vegas for a car convention related to his work, but they were at all the other cousins' weddings, including Joy's. 

Amy and Dillon live in a two bedroom home owned by Grandma Mary that they renovated together (I actually think it looks really nice - no joke.) I believe the house was transferred to the couple in the summer of 2017 when a bunch of real estate was moved around.

Amy once stated in an interview that her cousins weren't allowed to visit her at her place. If she wanted to see them then she had to go to the TTH. Apparently her uncle and aunt don't trust her worldly influence around their precious little virgins.

In December 2018, Amy opened her own clothing store. It’s called 3130 (Biblical connection apparently) and is located in Arkansas. 

Appearances on the show include that one time she thought she could be a country star and that other time Jim Bob baptized her in the Jordan River while rats swam nearby.

This is a real thing. It is called exercise induced anaphylaxis and my daughter has it. It quite rare according to her allergist. In my kid it is  the combination of a particular wheat protein (we are not sure exactly what) and vigorous exercise with in an hour or so after eating. Kid had gym right after lunch last school year and required two trips to the  ER in one month.  It is scary as hell when you see your child struggling to take a breath.

I do have a slight correction: the pink flamingos had to be painted blue for Marcus. It was a huge plotline *eye roll*. Sierra goes as far back as Michael's first birthday when she supposedly saved the day with a (store bought) rainbow cake. Anna and Amy's attempt at a checkerboard cake was a dismal failure. Sierra supposedly baked several layers and decorated in a matter of hours. Riiiiight.

JD put at least one open can of sardines in the Paine's car, and pretended to have forgotten the rings at Zach and Whitney's wedding. He instead pulled out a candy ring pop and handed it over before the real ring was dropped from the ceiling after he prayed for help. He also had put powder on the kneeling bench so it would mark Zach's trousers. Poor Whitney, in her wedding dress, got on her knees to help clean it off. The Duggars always seem to have to one-up everything, even a friend's wedding ceremony.

At someone else's wedding he lamented he couldn't screw up the car too much because it was a rental. Charming.

I know many people like JD and find wedding pranks fun, and I don't mind them, to a point,  but to me these crossed a line. Sardines in the air-vent or under the seat isn't just childish behavior--it's vandalism. Clownishly pretending he didn't have the rings surely caused unnecessary anxiety and ruined a lovely emotional moment during the ceremony. 

I feel sorry for his future bride, should there be one, because paybacks are a bitch, and revenge is best served cold.

A few minor quibbles in addition to the corrections already made.

In the JB and Michelle section on IBLP:  

• Both are regular speakers at Big Sandy.
• Both Joseph and Josiah went to ALERT and one of the twins is there now.  You have got it in their individual sections but not under JB and M.
• Jana, at least, was a leader in JTTH.  I'll try to find the cite.

And Jason does have his very own claim to fame.  He's the kid who fell 12 feet into an orchestra pit and concussed himself.  Michelle, instead of comforting him, whipped out her phone to video the poor little sprog as he was carried out on a stretcher.  The internets went wild over that one.

Very true, but I have to admit I still snicker at the thought of sexually frustrated Josh having to stop the getaway car to fix it. Before the wedding I remember him saying something along the lines of he would be very upset if anything delayed him when it came to leaving after the wedding. 

I remember feeling sad for Anna as she, still in her wedding dress, was left to wheel their luggage to the hotel room as Josh strode ahead.
