OK, thought experiment. A Fairy Godperson has just turned you into the Dream Journalist of your choice (hi there, Andrea Cooper, Morgan Kelly, and Georgia Wills!). You can choose any of the big three candidates and get them on a major cable show, 2 hours worth of questioning and interviewing---but only on a maximum of FIVE topics/issues.

Who would you pick, and what sort of Rather Pointed Questions are you dying to ask (especially if the MSM---mainstream media--hasn't bothered to press the issue)?

I'd take Trump, for the following:

• You raised about $6 million USD for veterans' charities late in January 2016 when you skipped a debate, and had a handpicked list of 22 to 24 groups. But as of March 3, less than half of that money had been distributed. The Wall Street Journal (you know, those left-wing liberals) contacted 19 of those 22 groups by early April, and confirmed only about $2.4 million has been distributed. What's causing the holdup of this promised assistance to our honorable veterans? (Your foundation has distributed about $180,000 USD to veterans' groups over a 10-year period. • You've called for deporting 11 million undocumented immigrants to the US. Can you, with your world-class memory and awesome smarts, please explain how you'll handle the logistics? One hundred thousand people a day--enough to fill Yankee Stadium twice--means nearly 4 months of work to get them all home. The International Red Cross [sorry,couldn't get the PDF link---just Google minimum space disaster shelter] recommends initial covered floor area per person of at least 3.5 meters squared (37.67 square feet--a little bit better than 9x4.25 feet). So you'll need 3,767,000 square feet at a minimum---somewhat larger than the convention space in Chicago's McCormick Place AND the Dallas Convention Center...combined. Probably also a LOT of extra porta-potties, too. (Convention and stadium data per Wikipedia.) This level of dislocation would terrify professional Red Cross and FEMA workers---but you haven't told us how you'll pull it off.

Right now, I'd ask Bernie:

You've said that Trump ought to condemn his more violent supporters. Why haven't you done the same (as of this post) regarding your own supporters harassing Roberta Lange and threatening violence at Clinton supporters?

What relevant foreign policy experience do you have? Can you clarify it beyond: No war, No ISIS?

How do you plan to pay for all the social services you've proposed without tax hikes on the middle class?

If you don't end up getting the nomination what SPECIFICALLY will you do to stop Trump? And how will it be effective?

Hillary:

What have you learned from your mistakes in foreign policy, and what will you do instead (specifically referring to Hillary's hawkish tendencies)?

Donald:

Why haven't you released your tax returns?
