Why can't we leave the environment alone and invest in wind/solar? That would give us US energy and provide jobs without the tragic environmental disasters we see with oil.

My hubby is a solar professor. Ronald Reagen removed solar panels from the White House, DEFUNDED solar research, and set the solar industry back 30 years.
