I know the idea of Poe's Law is that it's almost impossible to see the difference between a parody and the genuine article, but I'm starting to suspect that the reason we keep confusing these satire sites for the real thing is because they are just so damn unfunny.

Yeah, Christwire and Landover Baptist are definitely satire sites. They've been around for a long time.
