So, I was running an unrelated search and came across a thread on a forum from '04 when #15 was born.

One of the posters there, vman69, claims to have gone to school with Michelle and left some snark!

If someone is truly up for a little investigative reporting, they could find out the name of Michelle's high school and search Facebook for an alumni page/group. I've always wondered how a popular cheerleader like Michelle ended up with a doofus like Jim Bob.

That would be funny...get a Facebook group started of people who were classmates of Jim Bob and Michelle when they were in high school. Did Michelle always talk in that baby voice? Did either of them ever curse back in the day? Did Jim Bob every date anyone else? (I'm guess no to that one, seeing as how he commented that Michelle had "baggage" from kissing other boys besides him)..boy, this could be a LOT of fun !

The '84 alumni would probably remember her. She was only a year ahead of them and she was a cheerleader. '85 might be worth a try as well.

I took a peep at the 1984 FB group and there was a post about last week's episode where Michelle visited her old pal Cindy. The people who commented seemed a lot more interested in Cindy than in Michelle. LOL!

Seems weird that a stranger would pay $100 for Michelle's yearbook. Perhaps the buyer was a fellow classmate who regretted not buying a yearbook. Or... perhaps... it was Michelle Duggar who bought it?!

And yes, I'd LOVE to hear an honest person's objective opinion of Michelle or JB. Not anyone who ever had beef with them, just someone who could provide some perspective after having known them.

Home briefly from the hospital later Monday, Jim Bob, 38, sounded a bit tired but happy. He said his wife and new son were doing fine. He said he leaves the decision up to Michelle on whether to have more children. :)

The truth, it's not left up to God, it's left up to Michelle!

I think the poster on dvdtalk is legit. Some people in NW Arkansas were sick of the Duggars a long time ago before the documentaries aired. The comment about the church handouts and the mention of the church does match up with some of the past interviews. Boob and Mullet have both admitted before that when they attended that church they received food and clothing donations.

My gut tells me that Michelle had a bad experience when she was a teenager, perhaps with a boyfriend. It might not have turned her fundie overnight, but it set her on that path and this is how she ended up with Jim Bob. And after awhile, they got hooked on Gothard.

      Guess I should update again? Frieda (Kiki, we renamed her) is here since the end of February 2021. She came with a bunch of problems, but is the best dog ever and is doing better every day. But we do now know how a dog with ptsd looks like. For real, not joking. If she is triggered during the day, she wakes up screaming at night. Not like dogs dream, but literally screaming. Other than that she went with us on countless trips, loves hiking and even cable cars. She is one heck of a fearless dog in situations who do not remind her of her old life. 
      My Grandpa passed away last May and I'm still grieving a lot. After sharing a house with my grandparents for over 30 years it is just horrible to lose one of them. Even though it was his decision and he got to go like he wanted. At home, in his bed during the night without doctors. He would have need more care and he did not want more care. So after turning 90 he decided to let go and became weaker and weaker. 
      In other news my dad stops working for good on April 1st. Retirement time. Keep my Mum and myself in your prayers. We really do not want him at home all the time. Haha!

      I don't always make good decisions for myself due to severe depression but I did today actively decide not to do something that might have been detrimental for me and am very proud of myself.

      Well, this is weird. At some point, recently, I broke my wrist. I had to get a Dexa-scan today (put it off for years) and along with some bone loss, damn I had it a few minutes ago… the results said, “Fracture risk is moderate, and the patient has a significant wrist fracture. Treatment is advised.”  my left wrist aches a little but not near as much as my back, feet, knees or fingers, damn RA. I have no idea how it happened. I haven’t fallen in 2 years, haven’t banged or bumped…  the dr will call tomorrow and we’ll get  this straightened out.

      I got my stickers today after renewing my vehicle registration. 
      Just reminded me again how different Minnesota is from Iowa.  Since I didn't register my vehicle in January last year, I got a sticker for the month since all MN plates are made with JAN printed in the lower left hand corner.  They also require people to put stickers on both the front and back plates, as opposed to Iowa that just want's the single sticker on the rear plate.
      Oh well, considering how MN is trying to move into the 2020s while Iowa is trying to lurch the fuck back to the 1840s, the type and number of license plate stickers is really a minor thing.
