The Maxwells were blessed this Christmas, as always

What's that? Maxwell Xmas songs? Snow on the ground in Omaha? Ahem.

To the tune of "Winter Wonderland":

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,

In the lane, snow is glistening

But death's on the way,

So y'all better pray,

Living in a Maxwell Wonderland.

Gone away is depression,

Here to stay, is obsession

They're preaching of death,

With every breath,

Living in a Maxwell Wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,

Then pretend that he is Papa Steve

He'll ask if we're good people

We'll say: Sure man,

But he'll deny us, if

We don't believe.

Later on, we'll conspire,

As we dream by the fire

To pimp more Chore Packs

No time to relax

Living in a Maxwell Wonderland.

In the meadow we can build some snowmen,

And pretend that they're The Elderly

We'll preach death with lots of fire'n'brimstone,

As long as they endure our company

Read the Word, so fulfilling

Up at dawn, ain't it thrilling?

Don't frolic and play,

Or you'll lose your way,

Walking in a Maxwell Wonderland.

...had to.

We need to rattle La Traviata's cage and get her to make us some festive red and green smocked capes for the Hives holiday caroling.

edited for spelling

I think the original song is too 'worldly' to be known by the Maxwells... :snooty:

Steve probably white-outed the words in the kids 1st grade music books.
