2024: Possible Presidential Election Candidates

Christie is asking for $1 each because he needs a specific number of campaign contributions to stay in the race.  I think the number is now 40,000.  Otherwise, he'll have to drop out and won't even be able to debate.  He also has to get at least 1% in three polls.  The first debates are in late August so I figure the date to secure donations must be slightly before that.

Methinks the Lincoln Project will be raring to go on Scott.

I'm not sure where to put this but, since it involves the next election, I'm sticking it here.  Mods can feel free to move it elsewhere.

It isn't lost on me that Musk is slowly dismantling Twitter.  Of course, he can.  He mostly owns it and the rich kid can take his toys and break them so no one else can play with them.  The timing is suspicious to me.  I think he's doing it now to make sure that people can't access Twitter before the next election.  We know that his loyalties lie with the Republicans.  It's one way to cut off any negative information about Donald.

This latest limiting of comments is a major step.  And, since he won't pay his Google bill, Google has now taken tweets off a lot of their searches.  I haven't tried Mastodon or the others but might look at them now.  Full disclosure:  I used to have a Twitter account but closed it when Musk took over.  I continue to be glad I did.

Excellent insight.  Whether partially or entirely broken, I also see a damaged Twitter as likely a strong benefit to the Rs.  Dems need to make sure there are potent and reliable communication channels in place.

Typical GQP, thinks that federal employees provide no value. You know who provides no value? Pretty much anyone with an "R" after their name.

Oh great another rich idiot running for president. This one actually seems to have money though instead of trying to convince everyone he does.
