Best religious biographies

I have read most of the popular religious biographies, mostly about polygamy, the Amish or Scientology but are there any others you'd recommend? Any biographies out there from ex-Jw's or SDA's?

I'm not familiar with any biographies of former SDAs, but "I, Witness" and "I'm Perfect, You're Doomed", written by former JWs, are fairly good reads. Also "Secret Ceremonies" and "Leaving the Saints" are couple of memoirs from former Mormons that I would recommend for reading.
