The husband in this story is the same genius who asked why we fine someone for breaking an eagle egg, but it's fine to abort a human fetus. It has made several national sites, but this is the address for an Alabama news sites(always happy to have more good PR!). I tried to make sure that there wasn't already a topic started for this, but forgive me if I missed it.

Also breaking the link even though it is a public news site because this is the first time I have started a thread, and I don't want to mess up:

I have no idea how to unbreak this link. Can someone copy what she said, please?

Sorry: I tried to break it by typing out dot, but autocorrect must have gotten it. Should I try to edit my post?

My tentative guess is that he is getting spam from an online dating or porn site. Once I got an email from a Russian woman wanting to date me. There was no reason for me to get it and she obviously thought I was male. I think it was a form letter of some type. I ignored it as I don't think that it was sent to me personally. Usually, only I or my daughters use my computer. My guess is that I received it because I went on a video game site to read about a new game. Sometimes those sites have links to porn

If her husband is getting these type of emails, she can call out the women all that she wants but it will have no effect. It might make people wonder if her husband is getting on porn sites though.

She says that she wants to protect her family. How does this protect her family? If her husband is getting dating spam, he has the ability to put it into the junk folder and delete it. What is she protecting him from? Is he that likely to cheat on her that she has to run interference?

Oh sweet baby Jesus. Because strippers routinely wander the streets and show up at folks houses.

Did you see the comment from the nice older lady who said she had to do something similar for her preacher husband but her marriage eventually broke up due to slut in church?

Their family has been visited in the middle of the night by strippers

I am pretty certain strippers don't show up to your house without an invitation.

Looks like she took down the FB post. I guess it went a bit too viral.

Maybe he's been getting pop-ups from sketchy porn sites and this is how he explained it to her. Or maybe his wife is just taking the contents of his spam folder a bit too personally. Either way, this is comedy gold, and it wouldn't surprise me if "women" started suggestively messaging him because of his wife's public freakout.

Yeah - she's a nut. It's probably their spam folder which seems to attract ads depending on what you visit. She may want to investigate exactly what her lovely husband has been viewing. It's not like there's precedent there or anything. :shhh:

My spam folder is a mix of self-claimed hot, Russian women looking for dates, viagra ads, Christian mingle ads, claims that I'm the beneficiary of some poor, cancer stricken, Nigerian businessman's fortune, and offers to become a mystery shopper, and none of these people can spell. I think it may be time time to have a small, family meeting on just what sites we've been collectively visiting... :D

Whenever Shadrick McGill's name appears, I feel convicted to remind everyone that this is the assclown who said that the Bible demands teacher pay be kept low so that only those "called" to the profession enter it while politician pay should be increased to deter bribery.

I really hope he gets what's coming to him at the next election.

Oh, the teacher pay thing is a pretty common argument. I had a friend explain that to me while I was still teaching and barely getting by--that if I were paid enough to not worry about money I would be teaching "for the wrong reasons". Except I know so many good teachers, myself included, who have left the profession entirely because they were tired of financial stress. We have a culture of martyrdom surrounding education. A lot of teachers buy into it themselves. It isn't only martyrdom about salaries, it is also about being overworked and disrespected. All those things are a badge of honor for some teachers and they kill themselves to feel even more like a martyr for the cause. Plus most principals encourage it so they can exploit it.
