So far, so good. I have my rental car, my hotel room, and earlier this evening I pulled out my camera gear in order to perform yet another test to confirm all is working well. So in short, I think I’m good to go! I will have to figure out what to do on Sunday and Monday, though, as I don’t fly back until Monday evening. I’ll have some time to kill, so hopefully I can find something fun to do!

Drive to Kansas. Propose to Sarah Maxwell.

I'd love for him to go to a bar or try to pick up heathen women or something. I predict what he really does will be more appropriate for a 6 year old.

An adult male in Florida on his own and he can't figure out what to do for a couple of days?

He has no concept of taking advantage of the situation, does he? I hope those infantilized "men" learn to live before their parents die.

Start a new life as a real adult.

Go to a bar and let loose! :~D

Attend a theater performance!

Rent a car and sight see around the area!

He's a young man with time and money and he's in Florida. Is it really that hard to figure out what to do?

He'd have to think independently to do any of those things.

Call Mommy as soon as you check into hotel and she'll work it all out for you and tell you what to do.

We all know that's what's going to happen.

Go to the beach and talk to pretty bikini-clad women.

Go to a nightclub and dance with pretty skimpily-clad women.

Consider not going back to mommy & daddy. Get a job, rent an apartment, and leave no forwarding address.

Go to IKEA, eat meatballs with lingonberry jam, imagine setting up swanky bachelor pad with modern lines and flat-pack furniture.

Meet cute: Help pretty ladies lift their furniture into cart, offer to put it together for them.

And there's the beach and stuff, too.

It's too bad he won't be anywhere near Key West.

Oooh, the possibilities are endless! There's the beach or any number of nightclubs featuring pretty, scantily clad women. Catching the drag show at 801 Bourbon Bar. Going to the roof top clothing optional bar (the name escapes me).

I AGREE! I will even wire him money for gas. (surely he has a paypal account).

Yes!!! How can we channel this thought into his mind so that it is a sign from the lord?

Gustava, he went there to photograph a wedding. Apparently the original plan was to drive down there with a few of his brothers, but apparently there was a change of plans:

Hope you have a good (and safe) time down there, Luke! In the first place, the plan was to drive the whole way, rather than fly, and have a couple guys go along and catch a Braves game and do other awesome things, but sadly we had a change of plans and it didn’t work out. The Braves have become one of my favorite teams, thanks to your influence, Luke, and it would be so cool to visit Turner Field sometime.

Apparently there aren't any "awesome"things to do in Florida if one goes there without one's siblings.

Also, doesn't look like the boys travel on airplanes too often:

Luke:

Jude said: It’s really funny that you’re in Florida already, Luke… I’m so used to us driving everywhere that it’s odd to have you suddenly be down there.

Yeah, same here!

This was only my second time ever flying, so I was a little nervous, especially because I have a lot of expensive (and important) camera gear with me. Fortunately, all went very well, and I’m safely down here!

It’s gonna be really strange to be alone for the next few days. Definitely a change of pace!

John:

That’s neat. A few years ago, I flew down to Orlando to join Grandpa, Grandma, and a few of the guys for part of the RV trip. Going there and back has been my only flying experience so far.

Guess Mommy and Daddy say flying is pretty much a no-no for their boys.

I just don't get it, the entire thing just makes me sigh! It's just so sad and lame.

Run. Away.

I can't believe he went somewhere without parental supervision. And to Florida with the bikinis and the night clubs that stay open way past bedtime... But Ma and Pa probably have him outfitted with a GPS and a tiny camera so they know what he's doing at all times. So -- whew! -- he's safe.

Ah Luke, as long as you are alone in a hotel room, grab one of those little bottles of hand lotion from the vanity counter. Take your clothes off, lay down on the bed and relax a bit. Put some lotion on your hand and reach down. Learn to pleasure yourself, really you will find the endorphins are as good as any you get from running bases.

Thanks for the info. How could any fundie possibly afford Luke as a photog if he's flying down, staying in an evil hotel? The expenses alone would bust a fundie's budget. We needs to know more about this so-called wedding.

And they don't have any of their own fundie wedding photographers in Florida? Why is an Ardnt necessary at all? Unless it's for a friend or relative down there, it makes no sense.

Luke is only 27; he's probably still afraid of the dark. I'm sure each of his brothers sent a stuffed penguin along with him to keep him company and give him someone to talk to in their absence.

The communications between the brothers are bizarre and it's equally bizarre that they want us all to eavesdrop on them.....
