Crisis pregnancy center moving into former Planned Parenthood office.

The local Planned Parenthood closed last month.  So a crisis pregnancy center moved in.

A Dubuque clinic offering crisis pregnancy services will take over space once occupied by an abortion provider.

Clarity Clinic of Dubuque purchased the former Planned Parenthood building at 3365 Hillcrest Road earlier this month for $625,000.

Executive Director Kris Nauman said the building offers twice as much space as the clinic’s current location at 2100 Asbury Road, Suite 6. The lease for that location expires in December.

Makes me fucking sick.  We not only lose a place for women and men to turn to, but now this happens.

Maybe it'd be a bit easier to stomach if the local paper wasn't quite so gloating about this.

Is it one of these horrific places I've heard about where women who are looking for unbiased qualified advice about unexpected pregnancies are guilt tripped into not getting an abortion, even if it is the right choice for them?

It happen in my town too. We live in that lovely town that Abby Johnson wrote  lied about her book.
